We are so excited to be back this season! However, this does come with many changes as we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to COVID-19 the Surf ‘n Slide Water Park will have a maximum capacity of 1,000 people per day to meet Washington State Health Department CO- VID-19 guidelines. It is recommended this year that you reserve your spot in advance to ensure that you can enjoy the water park when you choose. If you are not pre-registered, you will be required to sign each individual waiver each time you enter, so please use the online reservation system. You can find this by going to our website at MLrec.com, click the "Online Registration" link and then search "public swim." You will be able to register your entire family for any days that are available, up to a week in advance. Save money by registering online!

Please note that the Surf ‘n Slide Water Park will be following all of the Washington State Health Department COVID-19 guidelines. This means that some features may not be available this season. You can visit our website to learn more. We need your help by following these so that we can stay open. All patrons 2 years and older will be required to have a mask and baggy or something equivalent to keep your mask clean while you swim. Masks are required to be worn by all patrons 2 years and older any time you are indoors includ- ing the lobby, locker rooms and bathrooms or when social distancing of 6-feet cannot be maintained. Once you are outside you can remove your mask so long as you can social distance from others outside of your party. Masks are not expected to be worn while swimming. When waiting in line to enter the facility, slides, Flowrider or concessions, please use the markers on the ground and maintain social distancing. Anyone not following these rules will be asked to leave without refund.

Please cancel or change your reservation if you or your family are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. You can do this by contacting the Surf ‘n Slide Water Park lobby at 764-3842 prior to opening on the day of your reservation. A $5 processing fee will be charged; however this fee will be for your entire family rather than each individual. COVID-19 symptoms include: a fever 100.4 F or higher, chills, cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.

The VIP gate will be available for use of all online reservations and season passes to help get people in and out of the park as efficiently as possible. Additionally, you can enter through the lobby at anytime.

We appreciate your help by following the rules and keeping everyone healthy. Here's to another great year!

COMMUNITY RESOURCES at Paul Lauzier Athletic Complex Paul Lauzier Athletic Complex is a 34-acre park site with three softball/base- ball fields, and two baseball fields. These fields see between 550 - 790 local games and roughly 20 - 30 tournaments annually. Users groups include, youth and adult softball and baseball, adult football, ultimate frisbee, soccer groups, and other park and recreation programs. Each year we have seen continued growth in baseball and softball games and other uses.

This complex was built and completed around the early 2000's and hasn't received any major field up- dates until recent. In May of 2021, all three softball/ baseball infields received around 360 tons of new engineerd dirt, laser leveled and graded to the proper playing specficiations.

In addition to providing safe and playable fields, these upgrades will reduce maintenance time and costs considerably. For example, each field will have an improved drain- age system which will allow the fields to dry quicker after heavy rains, additionally it will reduce the use of drying agents and allow play to resume quicker. Other City fields are on track for simialr upgrades. 1. Municipal Airport Property - 11905 Road 4 NE (67.6 acres undeveloped) PICNIC SHELTERS 2.
