MyLink

MyLink allows you to easily connect your straight to your Chevy vehicle. This simple connection lets you take control of a wide-range of top-notch technology right at your fingertips. This MyLink content is currently only available on 2012 Equinox, 2012 Volt and the 2013 Malibu.

How to Pair a (external) Phone

To begin, make sure that the device’s Bluetooth is on.

1. Press the [Home] button on the control panel. 2. Press [telephone] on the home menu, then press [yes] when the system asks if you want to pair a phone. 3. Press [Search Bluetooth Device] to search for Bluetooth phones. 4. Press the desired device to pair on the searched list screen. 5. Press [Yes] on the pop-up screen of your Bluetooth device and the Infotainment system.

6. When your Bluetooth device and Infotainment system is successfully paired, the “telephone” screen is displayed on the Infotainment system.

NOTE: When the connection fails, a failure message is displayed on the Infotainment system.

How to Pair a (already installed) Phone

The process is different if a phone is already paired with the system. If a phone is already paired, follow these steps:

1. Press the [Home] button on the control panel. 2. Press [settings] on the home menu. 3. Press [connection settings] > [bluetooth settings] > [pair device]. 4. Press [Search Bluetooth Device] to search for bluetooth phones. 5. Press the desired device to pair on the searched list screen. 6. Press [Yes] on the pop-up screen of the Bluetooth device and Infotainment system. 7. When your Bluetooth device and the Infotainment system is successfully paired, music note and phone icons are displayed on the “pair device” screen.

Note: The system can support up to 5 paired phones.

How to Play Bluetooth Music from Phone

With a properly paired phone follow these steps:

1. Press [home] on the control panel. 2. Press [audio] on the home menu. 3. Press [source] on the screen. 4. Press [Bluetooth] to select the connected Bluetooth music play mode.

NOTE: Currently there are only two compatible apps: Stitcher and Pandora, the latter maintaining its status of the world's most popular infotainment app. Naturally, more are coming. Drivers can interact with the apps using voice or using the touchscreen displays.

BringGo

BringGo is a connection navigation solution. Connected navigation means that your smartphone must be connected to the MyLink infotainment unit to work.

How to Get Started

1. Download the BringGo app for your region from the Apple App Store or an Android app store. 2. Install the BringGo app on your smartphone. 3. Download and install the maps that you wish to use. 4. Connect your smartphone to the MyLink infotainment unit using Bluetooth for Android smartphone or USB for iPhone. 5. Tap [SMARTLINK], then tap [BRINGGO] to begin the navigation service.

1. Download the BringGo app for your region from the Apple App Store. 2. Install the BringGo app on your iPhone. 3. Start the app and turn Location Services on. See FINDING YOUR LOCATION WITH GPS section for more information about Location Services. 4. Choose the maps you wish to download and install. 5. Connect your iPhone to the MyLink infotainment unit using an iPhone USB cable. 6. Tap [SMARTPHONE LINK], then tap [BRINGGO] to begin the navigation service.

Android Smartphone User

1. Download the BringGo app for your region from an Android app store. 2. Install the BringGo app on your Android smartphone. 3. Start the app and turn Location Services on. See FINDING YOUR LOCATION WITH GPS section for more information about Location Services. 4. Choose the maps you wish to download and install. 5. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone. 6. On the MyLink infotainment unit, go to [SETTINGS] > [CONNECTION SETTINGS] > [BLUETOOTH SETTINGS] > [PAIR DEVICE] > [SEARCH BLUETOOTH DEVICE]. 7. After a few moments, your Android smartphone should appear in the list. Tap the smartphone name and then accept the pairing requests to enable the connection. 8. On the MyLink infotainment unit, tap the [SMARTPHONE LINK] on the main menu, then tap [BRINGGO] to begin the navigation service.

If the MyLink infotainment unit cannot find the Bluetooth-enabled phone, please check that discoverable mode is turned on in the Bluetooth Settings of your phone.
