Jeremy Clarkson presents new series of the quiz show that sees contestants attempting to answer a string of questions for the ultimate prize of £1,000,000.

Six contestants, 15 questions each, four lifelines, and one chance to become a millionaire. It’s a long and difficult road from the first question to the last, but with plenty of helping hands on the way, will anyone have what it takes to win big?

An cast including Keeley Hawes, Gemma Jones, Jason Merrells, Joanna Lumley and Nigel Havers head up this drama from writers Roger Goldby and Simon Nye.

Alice’s life in her dream home with daughter Charlotte and husband Harry is turned upside down when she finds her beloved dead at the bottom of the stairs. Her parents and in-laws only cause her more problems, and her daughter soon has troubles, too.

Long Lost Family Monday, 9pm 18th January ITV

Nicky Campbell and Davina McCall present a new series of the show in which they come to the aid of people looking to reunite with estranged family members.

The series starts with stories of separation: a mother and father who, having fought in vain to get their son back through the courts, have lived with a lifetime of loss; and a son’s search for his mother, who disappeared from his life when he was a baby.

South Africa with Gregg Wallace Tuesday, 7.30pm 19th January ITV

The six-part series in which Gregg Wallace sets off to explore ’s most iconic landscapes and experiences - along with its glorious food - continues.

Gregg flies into Upington the gateway to the Kalahari and follows the Orange River to the spectacular Augrabies Falls. After paddling down the river, the host has a traditional Afrikaans braai, before trekking into the heart of a desert for a taste test.

This documentary is the dramatic global story of the first year of Covid-19, tracing the devastation caused by the spread of the virus across four continents.

This feature-length film explores the science, politics and tragic stories of the victims of the pandemic. It also the looks at how the pandemic was and remains potentially within our control, and how the decisions of governments helped shape its course.

Cornwall and Walks with Julia Bradbury Wednesday, 8.30pm 20th January ITV

Our favourite rambler Julia Bradbury is walking and Devon - two counties boasting over 5,000 miles of footpaths across epic and varied landscapes.

Julia spends this episode in Dartmoor National Park. While enjoying a seven-mile circular walk from the iconic Hay Tor, she climbs its towering rocks, learns about Dartmoor ponies and discovers some myths and legends with musician Seth Lakeman.

Morven Christie is back as DC Lisa Armstrong as the second series of the hit drama begins. Daniel Ryan, Stephen Tompkinson and Joe Absolom are among the cast.

The Governess, The Dark Destroyer and The Beast travel the globe to take on child geniuses, great apes, and the latest AI and robot technology. They beginin America, where they take on a Bonobo ape, a chimpanzee memory wizard and a dolphin.
