Nobis donet in patria. Amen Opening Prayer (Presider): Lord our God, in this great sacrament we come into the presence of Jesus Christ. Your Son, born of the Virgin Mary and crucified for our salvation. May we who declare our faith in this fountain of love and mercy drink from it the water of everlasting life. We ask this through Christ our Lord. All: Amen. Prayer in Silence The Rosary – Glorious Mysteries First Mystery – The Resurrection (Faith); Second Mystery – The Ascension (Hope); Third Mystery – The Descent of the Holy Spirit (Love of God); Fourth Mystery – The Assumption (Grace of a Happy Death); Fifth Mystery – The Coronation (Trust in Mary’s Intercession) Benediction: Tantum Ergo (St. Thomas Aquinas) Tantum ergo Sacramentum Genitori, Genitoque Veneremur cernui: Laus et iubilatio, Et antiquum documentum Salus, honor, virtus quoque Novo cedat ritui: Sit et benedictio: Praestet fides supplementum Procedenti ab utroque Sensuum defectui. May our worship of this sacrament of your Body and Blood help us to experience the salvation you won for us, and the peace of the Kingdom where you live with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.
