Since leaving TF1, Eleanor works independently in animated feature film acquistions, development and production with Indie Sales (Voted Best European Distributor at Cartoon Movie in 2015), where she is also developing and acquiring ground breaking transmedia projects. Her cartoon television work concentrates on international development and pre-sales for the award winning studio, Blue Spirit Eleanor is a founding member and co-vice president of the association “Les Femmes S’animent”, part of the global Women in Animation network. Finally, Eleanor devotes as much time as possible to Vipassana meditation, promoting Tostan, a human rights NGO in West Africa, as well as inter-religious dialogue and cooperative intiatives in Palestine.

Benjamin Feld Mixtvision {Germany} Benjamin Feld is Managing Director at Munich-based Mixtvision Digital, a 100% subsidiary of Mixtvision, a cross-platform publishing house for high-quality award winning content. Mixtvision has a strong focus on transmedia storytelling, where creativity and innovation in content production are key in order to tell engaging and immersive stories across platforms and target groups. Benjamin has been working in the media industry for over 10 years and has a track record of developing and producing successful formats for different media. Projects include TV series, console games, apps, e-books and others, some of which are based on famous brands like “Maya the Bee” or “Janosch: The Trip to Panama” while others are original creations. Benjamin holds a Master of Arts in media science and literature. Barbara Slade Blue Arrow Productions {United Kingdom} Barbara Slade is a Writer, Creator and Executive Producer of children’s and family programming. Based in London, England, she travels extensively, creating, developing and heading up shows for the international market. Barbara (both a British and U.S. citizen) began her screenwriting career in London when her first show “Brown Bear’s Wedding” starring Helena Bonham Carter, Joss Ackland and Hugh Laurie aired on ITV, Christmas day. It sold to most major territories, and was nominated for five Emmy awards including “Best Writer”. Barbara returned to America, where she continued her career, writing and developing children’s series for Nickelodeon, Disney, ABC, Fox and many other networks worldwide. She has written features for Working Title and Disney and has received numerous awards including a “Humanitas” for one of her episodes of “Rugrats”. Among many others, Barbara developed and served as Head Writer for “Angelina Ballerina” and “Rotten Ralph”. Stefan Thies NFP Animation Film {Germany} NFP Animation Film is an independent and well-known animation studio in Germany – established in 1989. Based in Wiesbaden (Hessen) and Berlin the studio covers development, production, marketing and licensing of any animation production like shorts, series, oneoffs and music clips mainly for TV and digital devices. Best known characters in Germany are “The Little Mainzmen” which are aired 6 days a week on ZDF (second public broadcaster) for more than 50 years. NFP Animation is also a German co-producer of international projects and service company for others. The latest co-production of NFP Animation is “One Minute Fly”, a web series by Michael Reichert (creator, writer, director). The episodes are currently in development. Gabriele M. Walther Caligari Film- und Fernsehproduktion {Germany} Gabriele M. Walther is the Owner and Managing Director of Caligari Film and its affiliated companies. After completing her degree at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF), she produced “Das Arche Noah Prinzip”, Roland Emmerich’s first full length feature film. She founded her first business together with the director Ulrich Edel (“Die Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo”, “Last exit to Brooklyn”). With the formation of Caligari Film in 1986 Gabriele Walther followed up her entrepreneurial career. In the 90s Gabriele Walther established the genre Sitcom onto the German market in co-production with Sony Columbia TriStar. Since 1999 she has produced 80 episodes of Germany’s most successful sitcom “Hausmeister Krause”. With animation productions of famous brands like “Princess Lillifee”, “Knight Rusty”, “Coconut the Little Dragon” and “Capt’n Sharky”, Caligari Film has become the German market leader in the animation segment. After some scientific research in Montreal, he worked for CANAL+ International in Paris. He was then responsible for the kids and short films department at PREMIERE (now SKY Deutschland) in Hamburg before becoming Head of Programmes at S-RTL / Disney in Cologne. After being Deputy Managing Director and Head of Programmes of Nickelodeon Germany, he was Managing Director at Jetix (now Disney XD) in Madrid, London and Munich. He lives in Marcousin (Dordogne) and is an international Media Consultant focusing on children content strategies. He sits on few boards (Stuttgart Animation Festival, German Kids Film Association) and regularly hosts media festivals and podium discussions, organizing for kids channels worldwide the Global Kids Media Congress in Angoulême. He develops and writes for original and classic TV and film properties for children and, under his pseudonym Theo de Marcousin, he’s a successful kids books author: see on Facebook – and maybe like?! – “Oscar & Hoo”.

Manuela Lumb started her career by helping establishing the animation Studio FILM BILDER. She founded the distribution company Edition FILM BILDER and was producing many prize winning short films. In 1998 she became commissioning editor at SWR and was responsible for Children’s Programme. Later she joined WDR and was commissioning editor for the “Show with the Mouse”, where she successfully produced many animation features and series and also live action. In 2008 she became Head of Children’s and Family Department at the Berlin-based Studio TV Film where among others, she developed and produced the most successful German children’s brand for KiKA, “Kikaninchen”. In June 2016 she became Head of Development at Motionworks, one of the leading Animation production companies in Germany.
