    STEVE TURNER Steve is an experienced scriptwriter who has developed original comedy ideas with a number of producers, including Hat Trick Productions, Freeform, the BBC and most recently NBC Universal / Lucky Giant. His 6 x 40 minute original sitcom YOU, ME AND THEM, starring Anthony Head, Eve Myles and Lindsay Duncan, was commissioned by UKTV’s Gold as their first original sitcom and premiered in 2013, produced by Hat Trick Productions. A second series was commissioned and aired in 2015. Steve has also had commissions from Comedy Central, who ordered two episodes of an original comedy idea of his in development with Hat Trick, and the BBC who commissioned production of a pilot episode of another original comedy series of his with Green Inc and Retort (Talkback). He also wrote episodes of and provided additional material for ITV’s 2013 comedy drama GREAT NIGHT OUT, created by Mark Bussell and Justin Sbresni. He has had comedy series pilots under option to Jellylegs and Lucky Giant, and has worked on a project with Shed Productions. Steve’s co-written comedy radio comedy series BARBARA NICE, starring Janie Connolly, was broadcast in 2016. Most recently Steve co-wrote an online episode of FUNNY VALENTINE with comedian Adil Ray. He is currently writing a romantic comedy TV Movie for Reel One Productions and has an original family sitcom under option to Channel X North.
