The son of progressive keyboard legend Rick Wakeman, Adam is in his 11th year as part of Ozzy Osbourne’s band and has long continued the Wakeman dynasty by writing & recording over 17 albums and performing with artists such as Black Sabbath, Travis, Slash, 10CC and pop artists such as Will Young and Annie Lennox. Having played thousands of live shows around the World, Adam has amassed an unrivaled knowledge of how, and what to play and is offering to share his knowledge with you. With a maximum group of 10 people, you’ll spend the day with Adam whilst he gives you a first hand experience of what it takes to be the best rock keyboardist in the field. At the masterclass, Adam will talk and demonstrate his live keyboard rig, along with other keyboards he uses in the studio. He will play a selection of pieces and dissect keyboard parts, sounds and methods of playing and demonstrate ways of adapting parts from recordings to live performance. The day will also cover a tutorial and demonstration on his Hammond C3 and Leslie 145, tips on improving your practice techniques and an informal chat on the music industry.
