FINALISTS NAMED for the NAISMITH PREP BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARDS

(Atlanta, GA, February 24, 2004) —Jackie Bradford, President of the Atlanta Tipoff Club, proudly announces the leading ten young men and women as finalists for the 2004 Naismith Prep Basketball Player of the Year Award.

The finalists were selected by a vote of the Naismith Prep Awards Selection Committee of leading basketball coaches, journalists, and administrators. Members of the selection committee were asked to name top male and female players who are most deserving of the award.

The winners of the Naismith Award, the most prestigious individual honor in college and high school basketball, will be honored in Atlanta on Friday, April 9, 2004.
