Science 9 I am taking this editorial as a chance for you as readers to get to know Union 10-11 your new student newspaper editor. Societies 12 I am a third year, English Language and Journalsim student (so yes this Breaktime 13 32 means I am also up to my eyebrows in dissertation work) that has been Music 14 with Seren throughout my time in university. I started in my rst year Books 15 writing articles here and there for other sub-editors and then at the start 90s Night 16-17 of second year I decided to take the Film 18-19 plunge and run for health and beauty editor, which is what we call lifestyle TV 20-21 now. I worked my way up to deputy design editor at the start of this year Games 22 and now step up to take on the position of editor for the last coupe of issues. Gadgets 23 I am also a proud Bangor Dragons cheerleader here at the university so Lifestyle 24 have both a connection with the SU Fashion 25 and the AU. Later this year, I will be embarking on a new chapter in my life Food & Drink 26 of ‘trying’ to complete a Masters degree in Linguistics at Bangor University. Travel 27 I have fallen in love with Bangor, the university and especially the people Sport 29-32 and guess I didn’t think it was the right time for me to leave just yet (to my mums dissapointment). Its fair to say March has been a chaotic month so far for me with 9 5 taking over Seren, my dissertation looming, assignments piling up, two cheerleading competitions and orgaising 90’s night! But I wouldn’t have been able to do it with the support of my Seren team, family and friends! For all the older students out there you should know that 90’s night is a tradition in Bangor that has been going strong for 8 years. For all the new students to Bangor this year, all you need to know is that its a fun night full of old school 90’s tunes and classic 90’s character fancy dress. e night was a great success thanks to everyone that helped out and to everyone that made the e ort to come along and dress up. ank you for supporting Seren!
