Queen Elizabeth II Her Majesty the Queen is 90 years old today and, to top off an already EPIC day, it is also World Gin Day!!! For me, this is even more exciting than Christmas and my birthday! In celebration of this momentous day, I have made our Liz’s tipple of choice and, funnily enough, it contains Gin! How good is that?! Lizzie is such a trendsetter, she was in on this Gin revolution long before any of us mere mortals were. It’s a simple drink – Gin & Dubonnet – but a great one, and The Queen is said to have one very day before Lunch. Technically, by drinking one of these every day, The Queen has over the recommended weekly allowance for alcohol here in the UK. She is now my hero, and has had a Gin every day and made it to 90 years old. I told you all Gin is medicinal… So, without further ado, here is the recipe for Gin & Dubonnet. Ingredients 25ml Gin (I used Silent Pool Gin) 50ml Dubonnet (Dubonnet is a type of Fortified Wine. It has Cherry, Qunine, Citrus and Toffee notes in it and, to me, this drink tastes a little bit like a spin on a Sangria!) A slice of Lemon Ice Method 1. Place the Gin and Dubonnet in a Cocktail shaker. -

A Hampton Bays Montauk Highway Corridor (Hamlet Centers) Study is anticipated to commence in the near future. A review of Hampton Bays history and an inventory of hamlet heritage resources is considered a necessary component in order to help insure orderly and coordinated development within the Hamlet of Hampton Bays in a manner that respects community character. Hampton Bays United, a consortium of community organizations, spearheaded the initiative to complete a historical profile for Hampton Bays and a survey of hamlet heritage re- sources. Cream of the Crop Boiled Dinner
If that’s the case, then the most recognizable in MIXOLOGY the category, Baileys Irish Cream, stands as a truly authentic taste of the Emerald Isle. More than 75% of the raw ingre- dients and packaging that goes into making the liqueur is sourced from its home country. The original is a blend of Irish whiskey sourced from a number of distilleries, fresh dairy cream — 220 million liters of fresh milk from 38,000 dairy cows on 1,500 farms located mainly on the east coast of Ireland is required annually — and a proprietary cocoa recipe. That original recipe has remained consis- tent, and led to category-topping numbers. Baileys owner Diageo announced recently that more than two billion bottles of the liqueur have been sold since it was first created. Since it was introduced in 1974, a number of creative flavors have joined the lineup, includ- ing Salted Caramel, Chocolate Cherry, Pumpkin Spice and Red Velvet, among others. The original, however, remains the standard, and works perfectly in this sweet concoction that would be a satisfying follow-up to a traditional Cream of the Crop boiled dinner.
