Chemistry Microbiology

Biology BTC 181 - Basic Laboratory Techniques

Basic skills and knowledge necessary in a biological or chemical laboratory.

Emphasis is placed on good manufacturing practices, safety, solution preparation, and equipment operation and maintenance following standard operating procedures. CHEM 131 - Chemistry Fundamental concepts of inorganic chemistry.

Topics include measurement, matter and energy, atomic and molecular structure, nuclear chemistry, stoichiometry, chemical formulas and reactions, chemical bonding, gas laws, solutions, and acids and bases. BIO 111 - Biology

Explore the principles and concepts of biology. Emphasis is placed on basic biological chemistry, cell structure and function, metabolism and energy transformation, genetics, evolution, classification, and other related topics. BIO 175 - Microbiology

Topics include an overview of microbiology and aspects of medical microbiology, identification and control of pathogens, disease transmission, host resistance, and immunity The Requirements
