This timetable is a little different than in previous years, given the increase in variation with XD running special services on 24th, 27th, 30th, 31st December 2019 as well as 3rd January 2020. There will once again be no Christmas Day services in Dundee, as Citylink are not running services to Dundee this year. They will still be running on Hogmanay night and New Year’s Day, alongside Xplore More X90 to Edinburgh Airport. Please use the main table first for your relevant bus operator, then use the dates and service numbers in the rows / columns as you require.     REPORT TO: PLANNING & TRANSPORT COMMITTEE - 27 OCTOBER 2008 REPORT ON: DUNDEE AND ANGUS BUS PUNCTUALITY IMPROVEMENT PARTNERSHIP REPORT BY: DIRECTOR OF PLANNING & TRANSPORTATION REPORT NO: 486-2008 1 PURPOSE OF REPORT 1.1 This report seeks committee approval for Dundee City Council to participate in the Dundee and Angus Bus Punctuality Improvement Partnership 2 RECOMMENDATION 2.1 It is recommended that the Committee approve the participation of Dundee City Council in the Dundee and Angus Bus Punctuality Improvement Partnership (BPIP). 3 FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS 3.1 The required management and monitoring of the BPIP will be contained within existing resources. In the longer term weaknesses of the road network that affect bus reliability will require assessment and may require significant investment to address. 4 BACKGROUND 4.1 Dundee City Council, in partnership with the Scottish Government, Travel Dundee and Stagecoach Strathtay have, in recent years, delivered a range of new high quality public transport facilities to the City of Dundee. 4.2 In 2004/05 Dundee City Council and Travel Dundee (in partnership with the Scottish Government) agreed to work together towards the creation of a; i Bus Punctuality Improvement Partnership; and a ii Quality Bus Partnership Owing to a series of organisational and operational changes the development work has been delayed and in any case progress has had to await the release of the Scottish Government's 'Action Plan for Buses'. 4.3 Since that initial agreement, Stagecoach East Scotland and Angus Council have approached the partners and asked to widen the partnership and this report includes these additional partners in a proposed partnership.

It also includes the section of local bus service 22 that runs between Murroes and Dundee. The publication is effective from Monday 5 June 2017. Changes to Service 139 since the August 2016 edition of this timetable • There is an additional Monday to Friday service 139 journey commencing Dundee High Street at 08:40; • The Monday to Friday service 139 journey from Dundee at 10:10 is withdrawn; • The Monday to Friday 07:48 service 139 journey from Inveraldie to Dundee is now operated by Stagecoach Strathtay and commences 4 minutes earlier at 07:44; • The Saturday service 139 journey from Dundee at 08:50 now commences 10 minutes earlier at 08:40; this also affects the return journey from Inveraldie now departing 7 minutes earlier at 09:02; • The Monday to Friday and Saturday service 139 journey from Dundee at 12:30 now commences 5 minutes earlier at 12:25; this also affects the return journey from Inveraldie which now departs 6 minutes earlier at 13:00.     2020 Book News Welcome to our 2020 Book News. It’s hard to believe another year has gone by already and what a challenging year it’s been on many fronts. We finally got the Hallmark book launched at Showbus. The Red & White volume is now out on final proof and we hope to have copies available in time for Santa to drop under your tree this Christmas. Sorry this has taken so long but there have been many hurdles to overcome and it’s been a much bigger project than we had anticipated. Several other long term projects that have been stuck behind Red & White are now close to release and you’ll see details of these on the next couple of pages. Whilst mentioning bigger projects and hurdles to overcome, thank you to everyone who has supported my latest charity fund raiser in aid of the Christie Hospital. The Walk for Life challenge saw me trekking across Greater Manchester to 11 cricket grounds, covering over 160 miles in all weathers, and has so far raised almost £6,000 for the Christie.
