Press Release Offlee Wild llega al Haras La Leyenda darleyamerica.com on profunda satisfacción, Haras La Leyenda anuncia la incorporación de un nuevo reproductor que Cse sumará al cotizado plantel que prestará servicio en el establecimiento durante la temporada 2010. Se trata, ni más ni menos, que de Offlee Wild, el ganador de 2 estadisticas en 2009: la de 2 años y la de primera generacion en los Estados Unidos. Ocupará una de nuestras padrilleras junto al consagrado Exchange Rate (Danzig). La noticia ve la luz luego de que Alberto y Renata Stein, propietarios de La Leyenda, alcanzaran un acuerdo con Darley America, la cabaña del Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum donde Offlee Wild se desempeña en el primer semestre. “Estamos muy felices de poder contar con Offlee Wild en La Leyenda para la temporada sudameri- cana de 2010. Es un excepcional padrillo joven, como lo demuestran los resultados alcanzados por su primer generación. No tenemos duda alguna de que será extremadamente popular en la Argentina”, co- mentó Alberto Stein. Nacido en 2000, Offlee Wild complace todos los requerimientos que pueden hacerse a un padrillo. A una campaña sólida, agrega un pedigree de enorme jerarquía, un físico de gran corrección, una calidad preponderante y una ya manifiesta generosidad en la reproducción. En su brillante primera producción, incluye a She Be Wild, ganadora del Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fi- llies y consagrada como Campeón 2 Años Hembra de 2009 en los Estados Unidos, a la ganadora clásica Heavenville y a los placé clásicos Dant, Certain Pride, Tomball y Offlee Funny. Su camada inaugural contó con apenas 63 productos, de los cuales ya corrieron 40 y han vencido 23. Bien vale resaltar que sólo a partir de 2010 le fueron presentadas yeguas de nivel superior. Offlee Wild corrió ininterrumpidamente durante cuatro temporadas, de los 2 a los 5 años, consi- guiendo seis triunfos -cuatro de ellos clásicos y en distancias que fueron desde los 1200 a los 2000 me- tros-, tres segundos y dos terceros, acumulando ganancias por 976.325 dólares. Ganador a los 2 años en Churchill Downs, se impuso en carreras de grupo a los 3, 4 y 5 años, incluyendo carreras de la jerarquía del Suburban Handicap (G1), en Belmont Park, El Massachusetts Handicap (G2), el Holy Bull Stakes (G3) y el Excelsior Breeders’ Cup Handicap (G3), siendo además tercero en el trascendente Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1), en Keeneland. Offlee Wild es el primer ganador del Suburban Handicap(G1) que prestará servicio en la Argentina. La histórica prueba fue ganada a lo largo de su célebre historia por otros grandes caballos que luego bri- llaron en la reproducción como Buckpasser, Easy Goer, Broad Brush, Key to the Mint, Dr. Fager, Bold Ruler y Equipoise, entre otros. Durante su fructífera campaña, Offlee Wild superó a caballos de la talla de Funny Cide (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes), Sarava (Belmont Stakes), Pollard’s Vision y Evening Attire, por dar sólo al- gunos ejemplos.
