The purpose of this study was to compare the personality traits of basketball players of different universities of Rajasthan the subject were male basketball players selected from different uni- versities of Rajasthan that is, MDS University, , , , JNV University, , MLS University, , University of and University of Kota. The sub- jects were ranging from 18 to 24 year of age. Selected psycho- logical variables were personality traits to test the personality of basketball players of different university of Rajasthan. HJ Eysenck’s personality inventory test was used. To compare the

basketball players of different universities on the variables viz. personality traits one way analysis of variances was employed to check the variability of selected basketball teams at 0.05 level of signifi cance. To tests the signifi cance difference LSD post hoc test was used to fi nd out the signifi cance difference between the means of selected basketball teams. Within the limitation of study following conclusions were drawn: signifi cant difference was found between basketball players of MDS University, Ajmer and University of Kota; Rajasthan, Jaipur and MLS.
