Unitedhealthcare® Texas Facility Based Physician Contract Status Important Information Please Note UnitedHealthcare® Texas Facility Based Physician Contract Status Important Information Please note: Inclusion of a group name on the provider list is not a guarantee that all Facility Based Physicians participate in the UnitedHealthcare network. Even if a hospital, ambulatory surgery center or other facility contracts with UnitedHealthcare and belongs to the UnitedHealthcare network,the facility may employ or contract with physicians and other health care professionals who do not participate in the network. When you receive medical care from non-network facility based physicians- anesthesiologists,emergency room physicians, radiologists, pathologists and neonatologists- the amount you pay (your out-of-pocket expenses)- may be higher. You may be responsible for payment for all or part of the fees for those professional services that are not paid or covered by your health benefit plan. The stated purpose of the fund was to provide monies for the continued development, implementation, and evaluation of the Texas EMS/Trauma System. The fund was appropriated four million dollars for the fiscal year (FY) 98/99 biennium from 9-1-1 funds. During the 76th Legislative Session, several changes were made to the legislation and four million dollars was again appropriated from 9-1-1 funds for the FY00/01 biennium.
