BEHIND THE VEIL

On a daily basis, teams of volunteers are committed to performing many tasks behind the scenes in our beautiful church. ;ese are parishioners who have loving hands and work tirelessly, in the background, without anyone knowing what they are doing to make Our Lady of Mercy the place that it is. ;ese dieerent ministries are made up of people who clean the church and dust the statues, straighten the pews and gif envelopes, remove old wax candles and place new ones out, clean and wash the sacred vessels and other items used at Masses and Benediction, and who wash and iron the altar linens and cloths used at all Masses. A big salute to all of these ministries and team members for what you do! For the Lord sees what you do, and your reward will be great in Heaven! If you would like to work “Behind the Veil”, contact Fred Gwin, Church Sacristan at (225) 926-1883 or [email protected] .
