All Saints' C of E Primary School Ilkley All Saints' School Association (PTA Auction Of Promises Catalogue All Saints’ C of E Primary School Ilkley All Saints’ School Association (PTA), Registered Charity No 1081437 All Saints’ C of E Primary School PTA Auction of Promises May 2015 Information about the Auction The Auction of Promises is in two parts: ñ firstly the online auction where all our lots will be listed and bids for items can be placed by interested parties; and ñ secondly the Live Auction which will take place at the PTA Summer Party on Saturday 16th May where a small selection of the online lots will continue to be available for bids – so if you can’t make the Summer Party, then make sure you bid high online so you don’t lose out! This auction has the potential to raise a significant amount of the remaining £20,000 needed to kit out the new creative/skills space for our children. However, we are totally reliant on all our families in school to support the auction and ensure you bid on as many lots as possible. There are some fabulous lots, which have been very kindly donated by local businesses/organisations and parents – please consider bidding for those things you use in your everyday life and let the PTA have the profit rather than your normal supplier. And also, why not consider treating yourself or your loved ones to some of those special, out of the ordinary lots? Please dig deep if you can, as all funds raised will go to kit out the creative/skills space due to be built in school for the benefit of all our children. The Online Auction The online auction will be live from Tuesday 5th May and will close at midday on Friday 15th May. The winner of each lot will be the person who has bid the most at the closure of the online auction (except in the case of the Live Auction lots, which will be won by the higher of the highest online bid and the highest Live Auction bid; and where the organisers need for any reason to withdraw a lot). You can access the online auction at www.auctionofpromises.com/allsaintsschool and you can search for particular lots using the lot numbers and/or titles in this catalogue. Bidding is not limited to parents, teachers and other school staff. Please feel free to mention the online auction to your relatives and friends, as anyone can bid. The Live Auction The Live Auction will be hosted by our professional auctioneer Mr Tony Webber at the Summer Party on the evening of 16th May 2015. Payment and Collection Winning bidders of all lots will be contacted in the couple of weeks after the Summer Party so that payment can be made and collection of items/promises confirmed. No payments will be taken on the online auction site or at the Live Auction itself. However, by bidding you are committing yourself to pay if yours is the highest bid at close of the auction. Further Details Should you wish to see an item being auctioned (e.g. a rug, mirror…), please email [email protected] All Saints’ C of E Primary School Ilkley All Saints’ School Association (PTA), Registered Charity No 1081437 AUCTION LOTS LIVE AUCTION LOTS 1. • Ilkley Neighbourhood Development Plan 2020 – 2030
Ilkley Neighbourhood Development Plan 2020 – 2030 A beautiful, vibrant and sustainable town 1 Foreword Welcome to the Ilkley Neighbourhood Development Plan Ilkley is a special place of outstanding natural beauty with an active local community and thriving cultural, business and voluntary sectors. Set within the valley of the River Wharfe at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, yet within easy reach of Leeds and Bradford, Ilkley is appreciated by those who live and work here and visit from nearby and further afield. Ilkley’s many occupants since prehistoric times through to its time as a popular spa town and the present day have given the town a rich and fascinating cultural heritage. Our vision for Ilkley over the next ten years and beyond is that it will be a vibrant, viable, sustainable and successful town, meeting the needs of young and old without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This plan represents the culmination of work undertaken by the Ilkley Neighbourhood Development Plan Working Group led at different stages by Town Councillors Brian Mann and Ros Brown with the help of our professional consultant from Kirkwells. This group of Town Councillors and experienced volunteers have sought the views and ideas of those who live, work and do business in the town to ensure this plan works to address the needs and serve the aspirations of our local community. We hope that everybody who cherishes the town of Ilkley and wants it to thrive will share the aspirations of this plan, and that as a community we can all use it to support the future development of our town to best serve the needs of current and future generations.
