Top Tips for Painting Your Rocks

• Flat stones work best. • Paint a white base layer so colours appear more vibrant. • Work on multiple rocks at a time. While one layer is drying, begin work on others. • Let the shape of the rocks guide you. • Paint pens and Sharpies work for smaller detailing.

• Nail varnish works brilliantly too.

familiesonline.co.uk Families Surrey East 11 Early years Giving at Christmas Sometimes so little can mean so much. We know how lucky we are here at St Christopher’s and it is good to stop and think about others and ask how we can give as well as take. Our children may only be aged between 3 and 7 but there is a lot we can do that doesn’t cost us and that really makes a difference to others. Using just the beautiful voices of Year 2 we sang Christmas Carols at the Ashley Centre to raise money for Epsom Hospital Medical Equipment Fund. To close the Christmas term we also attended Linden House Residential Home to entertain the residents with our carols and also Christmas music played on hand bells. All the children took a handmade card addressed to a named resident and watching the children and residents sharing these cards and their hopes for Christmas brought some early festive magic to all.
