MIX 94.1’s 17th Annual Bite of Las Vegas Food and Music Festival Returns September 28th to Desert Breeze Park Featuring Goo Goo Dolls, OneRepublic, Better Than Ezra, Matt Nathanson, Plain White T’s, Parachute and Walk off the Earth

July 30, 2013, Las Vegas, NV - Mix 94.1 and Tire Works present the 17th annual Bite of Las Vegas Food and Music Festival on Saturday, September 28th, 2013 from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm at Desert Breeze Park located at 8425 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89117.

This year’s lineup is bigger than ever including Mix 94.1 artists Goo Goo Dolls, OneRepublic, Better Than Ezra, Matt Nathanson, Plain White T’s, Parachute and Walk off the Earth! There will also be a special appearance from Las Vegas’ own Purple Reign, THE Prince Tribute. Mix 94.1 is also excited to announce that members of the UNLV “Star of Nevada” Marching Band will be performing live at the event.

Additional entertainment along with a kid’s area featuring tons of interactive activities including carnival rides and games will be also on-site. Mix 94.1 on-air personalities will broadcast live throughout the day from the park in addition to hosting many of the on-site events.

There is food for all taste buds as well, everything from Mexican, Asian and French, to Mediterranean, Italian, barbeque and more! Restaurants also compete throughout the day for the best decorated booth on-site as well as many different “Best Bite” food categories.

Bite of Las Vegas is an event that has become engrained in the community over the last 17 years and is something that thousands of locals look forward to attending. A large part of its success is due to its family friendly nature and Mix 94.1’s dedication to making it an affordable day out for everyone. General Admission tickets start at only $15, with kids 6 and under getting in free. The food offered from more than 50 local Las Vegas restaurants is priced no higher than $5.

Tickets go on-sale at Mix941.fm on Friday August 2nd at 10:00 am. General Admission tickets can be purchased at a special pre-sale discount of only $15 until August 25th. “In-Advance” GA tickets can be purchased for $17 from August 26th – September 27th. Tickets will be available at the gate, the day of the event for $25. There will also be a Concert Premier ticket for $35 that includes a commemorative beer mug and a VIP ticket option for $75 that includes a special VIP area centrally located on the field that includes a covered tent, elevated platform for great views of the stage, as well as complimentary food, non-alcoholic beverages, and a limited number of alcoholic drinks throughout the day. Both premium ticket options go on sale August 2nd at 10:00 am.
