“The perfect rock show.” – Los Angeles Times

“A musical masterpiece.” – Ticketmaster

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, April 4, 2019) – Brit Floyd, the world’s greatest Pink Floyd tribute show, brings their greatest and most ambitious production yet to the Kimmel Center’s Merriam Theater on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. Brit Floyd’s Another Brick in the Wall 2019 is a special 40th anniversary retrospective of Pink Floyd’s iconic rock opera, The Wall, complete with groundbreaking production including a stunning light show, visual projections, lasers, and captivating theatrics.

In addition to performing a host of musical highlights from The Wall, Brit Floyd will perform classic gems from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, , and more. This faithful recreation of the final 1994 Division Bell tour is sure to be the closest fans will get to experiencing the magnificence of a Pink Floyd show live. “Brit Floyd’s stage show is courageous experimentation, truly encapsulating the spirit of a Pink Floyd show,” said Anne Ewers, President and CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. “The experience is a testament to the timeless songs, loyal fanbase, and overall production quality.”

Formed in 2011 in Liverpool, England, Brit Floyd was the brainchild of Damian Darlington, musical director, guitarist, and singer with The Australian Pink Floyd Show. The group’s live shows imitate and recreate the sound and musical components of Pink Floyd’s live shows, paying close attention to all the various aspects of each show including music, visuals, and lighting to perfectly recreate the emotional journey of a Pink Floyd show.

Other featured upcoming performances at the Kimmel Center Cultural Campus include: Polly Mope (May 9-11, 2019, SEI Innovation Studio), The Illusionists – Live From Broadway (May 10-11, 2019, Merriam Theater), Eddie Izzard WUNDERBAR (May 15, 2019, Merriam Theater), and Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical (June 1, 2019, Perelman Theater).
