Buffalo NY 258,612 Buffalo's Energy Master Plan is part of the Five Cities Energy Plan, a collaborative strategy document that envisions a more energy efficient and sustainable future for the five largest Upstate New York cities. Durham NC 263,016 We are interested in exploring partnering with Durham County and other local governments to develop commercial scale solar farms, group purchasing, etc. Chula Vista CA 267,000 As a member of LGSEC we provide regulatory feedback to the state on measures related to clean energy. We are also a founding member of the San Diego Climate Collaborative and South Bay Energy Action Collaborative. We would be open to any other partnerships that can bring more clean energy to our community. Toledo OH 280,000 Toledo is currently working with Lucas County officials along surrounding area city governments on Further environmental issues. Additionally, The city works with Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG) Orlando FL 282,000 We are participating in the Renewable Energy RFI and plan to collaborate with other cities to achieve our goals. Anchorage AK 296,000 As the local government, the MOA is working to install renewable energy on several locations and is considering a renewable energy goal through the Climate Action Plan. Santa Ana CA 338,000 City is member of the Orange County Cities Energy Efficiency partnership with SCE and SoCalGas, and sharing best practices including renewable energy solutions. Oakland CA 424,000 We are working with the other cities and County via the CCA program. Raleigh NC 458,880 The City actively participates in various public organizations that work to advance renewable energy and climate solutions at local, state, regional, and federal levels. The City maintains good working relationships with regional local governments as we work together on resiliency programs. Long Beach CA 470,130 The city of Long Beach is interested in partnering with local governments to advance climate solutions through renewable electricity. The City is currently researching and considering Community Choice Aggregation options that may lead to partnerships with other cities. Kansas City MO 478,000 The City will encourage other local governments to procure renewable energy thru KCP&L's new renewables program, when it is approved by the MO Public Service Commission. Mesa AZ 496,401 Municipalities are working with Salt River Project, the local utility company, to explore community renewable energy projects. Las Vegas NV 640,174 Yes, the City is interested in looking at opportunities to partner with other local and regional governments (as well as state agencies) to purchase, acquire, and develop renewable energy resources. It currently does so with the Colorado River Commission of Nevada. Portland OR 650,000 Portland participates in the League of Oregon Cities (LOC) and plays an important role in shaping the energy policy agenda of that group in Salem. We also participate in multiple peer city networks, such as USCM, C40, USDN, CNCA. Boston MA 685,094 The City of Boston is coordinating the release of a multi-city Request for Information to explore collective purchasing of renewable energy in order to bring down costs and incentivize more development, through a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA). As well as major cities across the US, including Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando, FL, Portland, OR and Evanston, IL, we have recruited several local governments: Melrose, Arlington, Somerville, Cambridge and Manchester, MA; Nashua, NH; South Portland and Portland, ME. The Metropolitan Area Planning Council, the regional planning agency serving the people who live and work in the 101 cities and towns of Metro Boston, has also signed onto the RFI. Washington DC 693,972 The District of Columbia works closely with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) on a regional approach to mitigating GHGs. MWCOG represents 17 regional jurisdictions including and surrounding Washington, DC, and has established ambitious goals to reduce regional GHGs 20% below 2005 levels by 2020 and 80% by 2050 region-wide. The District has also partnered with MWCOG and several Federal agencies on climate adaptation planning activities, driven in large part by the now-rescinded Federal Executive Order 13653, which mandated that Federal agencies take actions to enhance climate preparedness and resilience. MWCOG supports local governments in developing renewable energy plans, policies, and initiatives, particularly for solar. Additionally, MWGCOG helps local government install renewable energy systems on municipal facilities, supports efforts to create a robust regional solar market, and seeks to foster more low-cost solar deployments. Beyond the region, the District is part of the C40 network of cities, the Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance, and 100 Resilient Cities and works in peer networks to advance climate and renewable energy solutions. For example, the District is part of a thermal decarbonization pilot program funded by CNCA in collaboration with three other leading-edge cities (NYC, Boulder, CO, and Burlington, VT) to study market potential and market deployment of air source heat pumps for the small residential sector. Denver CO 700,000 We work in partnership with U.S. and Canadian cities through the Urban Sustainability Directors Network and Climate Mayors, and with cities elsewhere through ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability. San Francisco CA 890,000 San Francisco engages with regional, statewide, national and international local governments across all distributed energy resources topic areas (EE, RE, Storage, ZEVs). We also coordinate closely on decarbonization policy, regulation and initiatives. Examples of existing partnerships are as follows. The City helped to implement the Finger Lakes Regional Sustainability Plan, developed as a collaborative regional project through the NYSERDA Cleaner Greener Communities Program in 2013, and will continue to engage with Monroe County, Genesee Finger Lakes region and Upstate New York communities to share best practices to continue to work together to strengthen the climate resiliency of the region. The City has been part of the New York Power Authority's (NYPA) Five Cities Energy Program, a partnership which includes Rochester, Albany, Buffalo, Syracuse and Yonkers. With
