Spiros, Sen. Nass, Sen. Vukmir, and others 1. The Spiros Anti-Immigrant Bill would separate Wisconsin immigrant families, encourage discrimination and racial profiling, and make local law enforcement an arm of the Trump deportation machine. AB190 outlaws common sense community policing that aims to build trust between police and diverse communities. 2. The Spiros Anti-Immigrant Bill makes victims and witnesses of crime and domestic violence survivors afraid to report crimes, making all less safe. 3. The Spiros Anti-Immigrant Bill would prohibit local governments from keeping their employees from interrogating community members about their immigration status and arresting people for deportation. AB190 aims to turn courthouse clerks, City Hall employees, and teachers into Immigration agents. 4. The Spiros Anti-Immigrant Bill will would disrupt the economy and lead immigrant workers, homeowners, and business owners to leave.
