A mixture of rebellion, coming-of-age, and a little bit of rock and roll, this show is sure to give audiences ‘feels’ they may have not felt before and some may even be a bit uncomfortable. Theater-goers will go on a journey of teen- age navigation through self-discovery, inside and out. The talented cast of this production is lead by a seasoned Fond du Lac Community director and showcases the shear talent our organization has to offer. This production is a powerful celebration of creativity and addresses issues we face as a society. Our community, and those that surround us, are ready for this. #FondyIsReady Although new to our stage, this show already carries with it several accolades - the winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical. In addition, this musical has also won several Drama Desk Awards, a variety of Outer Critics Circle Awards, and a Grammy for Best Musical Show Album. And, it has literally been performed worldwide. This is our second show at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts. We continue to seek ways to engage new audiences, while keeping a firm hold on what is important to our membership and dedicated patrons. In closing, I wish to thank you for taking the time to see our show. Intimate concerts in the Great Hall, street concerts with major performers, indoor films, and art from world-renowned artists are available at THELMA. The issues and themes tackled in this show are pain- Costumes. Casey Feibig fully relevant today, and it is astounding to me that these prevalent subjects have been around for so long. Although Spring Awakening is Musical Director. KING ARTHUR (Baritone, Late 30s-60s) – The King of England, who sets out on a quest to form the Knights of the Round Table and find the Holy Grail. Great humor. Good singer. THE LADY OF THE LAKE (Alto with large range, 20s-40s) – A Diva. Strong, beautiful, possesses mystical powers. The leading lady of the show. Great singing voice is essential, as she must be able to sing effortlessly in many styles and vocal registers. Sings everything from opera to pop to scatting. Gets angry easily. SIR ROBIN (Tenor/Baritone, 30s-40s) – A Knight of the Round Table. Ironically called "Sir Robin the Brave," though he couldn't be more cowardly. Joins the Knights for the singing and dancing.     Twenty Years of Fine Performing Arts at Your Washington Pavilion s we celebrate our 20th season we’d like to take a look back at where we’ve been and what has gotten us to where we are now. In the playbill for ASPAMALOT we covered the first ten years of shows presented in the Pavilion Performance Series at the Washington Pavilion and the extremely diverse and vastly entertaining roster. Aquila Theatre Company’s AS YOU LIKE IT told the story of power hungry men exiling their brothers, girls playing guys and finding love in unexpected places. The hilarious new musical, THE CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES featuring Bill Christopher, also known as M*A*S*H’s Father Mulcahy, was presented in October. Royal Winnipeg Ballet kicked off 2010 with their performance of A Cinderella Story. The season wrapped up with Melissa Gilbert performing in eight shows of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE-THE MUSICAL. We presented more Broadway than ever starting with our 12th season in 2010. LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL, MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT, AVENUE Q and DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST all took to the stage of the Mary W. Embarking on their quest to find the Holy Grail, the Knights’ shenanigans include flying cows, beautiful show girls, killer rabbits, and flatulent Frenchmen – all while performing heart-stopping and hilarious musical numbers. 2015 marks the 40th Anniversary of the release of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The film was a box office hit and was the highest grossing British film shown in the U.S. in 1975, surpassing films such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Tommy, The Man Who Would Be King and Return of the Pink Panther. In 2005, Spamalot, adapted from the film, premiered on Broadway following a Chicago preview run. Directed by Mike Nichols, Spamalot received 14 Tony Award nominations and won three, including the award for Best Musical. During its Broadway run, it was seen by over 2 million people and grossed over $175 million.
