You know you've had an unforgettable experience when that's all you think about and you can't wait to tell your family and friends what a great time you had. You'll feel the same way after you spend some time in Trent Hills like I did over several months. There were plenty of things that made me want to return, whether it was an event, a business or an attraction. What makes a vacation, getaway or even a day trip memorable for me is meeting interesting people, learning about local culture, and experiencing local events and activities first-hand. Trent Hills fits the bill perfectly. It's a community of 12,900 with a small town and several villages and hamlets set amidst a scenic rolling countryside. Located 90 minutes just east of , in Northumberland County, , Canada. Warkworth – a charming artisan-designated village with unique shops and boutiques, in a beautiful valley setting. Hastings – a popular boating and fishing destination located at the mouth of Rice Lake, Lock 18 on the Trent- Severn Waterway. Campbellford – a picturesque community with unique attractions situated between Locks 11/12 and 13 on the Trent-Severn Waterway. What makes it so attractive?
