THREE CONSECUTIVE MVFC AWARDS: For the first time since 2010, Western Illinois picked up the Missouri Valley Football Con- ference ‘Player of the Week’ award... It started with Matt Zobrist (Offensive Lineman/Oct. 5), then Trenton Norvell (Offensive/Oct. 12) and Lance Lenoir, Jr. (Offensive/Oct. 19)... It’s also the first time since 2005 that three different Leathernecks received the weekly award.

SCOTT SHOWING CONSISTENCY: Hi-C Scott joined the Leath- ernecks last year, and in 23 career games he has caught at least one pass in each contest... Scott moved into sixth place all-time in the category, but with only one game remaining Scott will remain in that place... He extended his streak thanks to a 33-yard TD catch against South Dakota State.

SCOTT JOINS THE 1,000 CLUB: Hi-C Scott became the 27th Leatherneck all-time to record 1,000 receiving yards following his performance against South Dakota... Scott accounted for 94 yards on just three receptions to give him 1,005 yards all-time, and follow- ing the SDSU game currently has 1,038... Also in a rare feat in WIU history, Scott joins Lance Lenoir, Jr. in having two active players with 1,000-plus receiving yards.

TRIO JOIN RECORD BOOKS: Western Illinois accomplished a rare feat in 2013, as three different receivers finished a game with 100-plus yards... It’s the fifth time in program history that feat was accomplished, and first time happening since 2009... Lance Lenoir, Jr., Hi-C Scott and Joey Borsellino accomplished the feat... Lenoir caught seven passes for 105 yards and two scores at Illinois State... Borsellino had 110 yards on 10 catches versus Southern Illinois... Scott totaled 104 yards on four catches with two TDs against Missouri State. He also finished five yards shy of 100 against Quincy in week two.

ZOBRIST EARNS WEEKLY AWARD: Sophomore offensive tackle Matt Zobrist received the first weekly ‘Player of the Week’ award in his career following the North Dakota State... Zobrist was selected as the Missouri Valley Football Conference ‘Offensive Lineman of the Week’ as the Leathernecks rushed for more than 250 yards versus the nation’s third-best rushing defense... It was the most rushing yards versus the Bison in NDSU’s previous 21 games... Zobrist and the offensive unit allowed only one sack in the game.

KNUFFMAN IN CAREER LISTING: Sophomore Nathan Knuff- man moved into 10th place in three career ‘Top 10’ listings... He moved into sole possession of eighth place in field goals (12), ninth in extra points (62) and ninth place in scoring among kickers (98).
