Work will begin in summer 2016 on transforming East Wick, in the north west of the Park next to Hackney Wick, and Sweetwater, in the south west of the Park near Old Ford, into two vibrant new neighbourhoods comprising up to 1,500 homes. It is anticipated that the first homes will be ready to move into by 2017.

Chobham Manor A second wave of properties at Chobham Manor, located between East Village and Lee Valley VeloPark, went on sale to the general public earlier this year. With a range of one bed and two bed properties on sale, the majority of these homes have now been bought, with some prospective homeowners even camping out overnight to secure their home on the Park! Construction work, which is being carried out by Taylor Wimpey, is currently well underway and residents will begin to move into Chobham Manor from the end of 2015.

East Village Following the initial pre-London 2012 Stratford City masterplan, around 2,000 new homes are planned across East Village, the former site of the Athletes’ Village. The first of these new homes will be built on the development land bounded by Celebration Avenue, Victory Park and Fortunes Walk. Preparatory works on this plot took place in January and construction activity will commence this year. East Village residents will be kept up to date throughout the development period by Get Living London and the appointed contractor.
