Day 1 – Sunday, October 11, 2015 Departure from Miami

Day 2 – Monday, October 12, 2015. Welcome to Israel!

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, near Tel Aviv. Meet, and be assisted by our local representative responsible for your tour of Israel. Your guide and driver will take you to out Tel Aviv hotel for check in and dinner. Overnight at Tel Aviv hotel

Day 3 – Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Coastline

After breakfast and check out, we head to our first destination, the ancient Roman city of Caesarea built by Herod the Great. We continue to the museum at the Atlit detainee camp where we will learn about the Aliya (immigration) to Israel during the time of the British Mandate rule. After lunch we continue with a visit to the port city of Haifa. Here we will visit the German Colony and the famous Bahai gardens. We will also hear about the special communities living side by side in this special city. We continue to Mt. Carmel lookout point where we can see the Jezreel valley. We end this day visiting the Druze community of Dalyat El Carmel. Here we will experience local home hospitality and learn about the Druze people and their culture. Overnight at Galilee hotel.

Day 4 – Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Golan Heights

We start this day with a visit to Tel Dan - a city mentioned in the Bible, described as the northernmost city of the Kingdom of Israel, belonging to the Tribe of Dan. We continue to the Banias nature park - one of the sources of the River Jordan. After lunch at Kiryat Shmona, we head to Mt. Bental lookout point. Our next activity is an exciting Jeep ride in the hills of the Golan. We end this day with a visit to De Karina chocolate factory. Here we will taste Israeli chocolate and hear the story of the factory owners who made Aliya (emigrated) from Argentina to Israel. Overnight at Galilee hotel

Day 5 – Thursday, October 15, 2015. Galilee

After Breakfast and checkout, we travel to the city of Tzfat. Tzfat has been considered one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities (along with Jerusalem, Hebron and Tiberius). Since that time, the city has remained a center of Kabbalah, also known as Jewish mysticism. After lunch and some shopping time we continue to the town of Rosh Pina situated on the eastern slopes of Mount Kna'an. The town was founded in 1882 by thirty families who emigrated from Romania, making it one of the oldest Zionist settlements in Israel. We head southward through the Jordan Valley stopping at the ancient and modern cities of Beit Shean. After a short visit to the ancient ruins of the city we continue to Jerusalem passing by the ancient city of Jericho and the northern tip of the Dead Sea. Upon entering Jerusalem, we stop for a lookout at Jerusalem from Mt. Scopus. Overnight at Jerusalem hotel

Day 6 – Friday, October 16, 2015. Jerusalem's Old City

We start our day with a drive to the top of the Mt. of Olives. From the top of the Mount there is a magnificent view over all of ancient and modern Jerusalem, the center of the biblical world. We visit the most ancient Jewish cemetery in the world where many Jews chose to be buried. We continue through the Kidron Valley visiting ancient landmarks from the second Temple period on our way to the City of David archeological park. Here we will see a 3D movie of what Jerusalem looked like 3,000 years ago and visit an underground water tunnel known as Hezekiah's Tunnel. We enter the Old City of Jerusalem through the Zion Gate. We will tour the Jewish quarter and have time for shopping and lunch. We end our visit to the Old City with a visit to the Kotel also known as the Western Wall (time for prayer). We return to the Hotel and prepare for Shabbat (candle lighting, services and a festive Shabbat dinner). Overnight at Jerusalem hotel

Day 7 – Shabbat, October 17, 2015. Shabbat – day of rest

Shabbat Shalom: Free day to rest on Shabbat or explore Jerusalem on your own: rest and pray. Connect with individuals or sites of personal interest. No bus or guide provided.

Day 8 – Sunday, October 18, 2015. Modern Jerusalem

After breakfast we visit the Yad Vashem memorial to the victims of the Holocaust followed by a visit to the nearby army cemetery at Mt. Herzl. We pass by the Knesset, Israel's parliament where we will plant trees in memory of the Holocaust victims. Afterwards we will go to the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea scrolls are displayed. We end this day with a special Jerusalemite experience visiting Machne Yehuda market (The Shuk). Overnight at Jerusalem hotel

Day 9 – Monday, October 19, 2015. Dead Sea

We start our day with a tour of Masada. Ascent by cable car for an extensive tour of the site which was the scene of the last Jewish resistance against the Romans in the year 73 CE. We continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on the face of the Earth. You will have plenty of time at the shores of the Dead Sea and have an opportunity for a bath in mineral rich waters (Dead Sea SPA). Dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Benjamin

After breakfast we head to the biblical tribal lands of Benjamin. At the world renowned Psagot Winery and visitor center we will taste local wine and enjoy a multimedia show about the region. Next we visit ancient Shiloh where the Tabernacle stood for 369 years. We continue to Ofra, the first Jewish village in Samaria after the Six Day War with a lookout over the Hatzor Heights where God appeared to Abraham according to the Dead Sea Scrolls. Next we visit the site of Jacob's Dream Of The Ladder in

Day 11 – Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Tel Aviv

After breakfast and checkout we leave Jerusalem and head to Tel Aviv. We begin our day with a visit to ancient Jaffa and its famous flea market and sea port. After lunch we continue to the Palmach museum where we will learn about the Jewish resistance in the time of the British mandate rule. We visit the Independence Hall museum where the State of Israel was proclaimed in 1948. We finish our visit to Tel Aviv and Israel with a festive final dinner at one of Tel Aviv's great restaurants. Check in and departure to Miami
