Bir y›ll›k haz›rl›¤›m›z›n sonuçlar›n› pay- laflaca¤›z dostlar›m›zla.. 2006 y›l›nda Uluslararas› ‹flçi Filmleri Festivali’nin ilkini düzenlerken “festival” ezberini bozarak, festival gibi olmayan bir festivali gerçeklefltirmeyi hedefledik. Festivalimiz kolektif eme¤in ürünü. Birçok dostumuzun çok de¤erli katk›lar› ile ç›tas›n› sürekli yükseltmekte. Büyük sermaye gruplar›ndan veya yurtd›fl›ndaki fonlardan des- tek ve sponsorluk kabul etmeden, sendikalar›n ve festival dostlar›n›n katk›lar› ile ger- çeklefltirilmekte. Festival 3 ilde ayn› anda örgütlenmekte ve ilkinden bu yana 10’dan fazla ilde de yay- g›n olarak tekrarlanmakta. Bütün film gösterimlerini, sanat›n gün be gün metalaflmas›na inat, biletsiz ve ücretsiz olarak gerçeklefltiriyoruz. Yaflam›n her alan›nda, herkes her fley için birbiriyle yar›flt›r›- l›rken, biz emek filmlerini yar›flt›rm›yoruz yani yar›flmas›z bir festival bu. Filmlerini festivale gönderen yönetmenler, tüm Türkiye’de 10 binlerce kifli izleyebilsin diye gönderiyorlar filmlerini. Eme¤i anlatan film yapmak isteyenler de biliyorlar ki, fes- tival ile tüm Türkiye’yi dolafl›r filmleri. Bununla da kalmaz, yine iflçi filmleri festivalleri- nin düzenlendi¤i, ABD’ye, Güney Kore’ye, Latin Amerika’ya gönderilir. ‹flçilerin ulus- lararas› birli¤i ve dayan›flmas› tüm dünyay› dolaflan emekten yana, eme¤i anlatan film- lerle bir kez daha umut edilebilir. Uluslararas› ‹flç‹ Filmleri Festivali’nde 3 y›lda toplam 130 film gösterildi. Bununla kal- mad›, baz›lar› Festival sonras›nda sendikalar arac›l›¤› ile iflçilere ulaflt›. IV. Uluslararas› ‹flçi Filmleri Festivali için de 50 film seçtik. Bu 50 filmden, Ariel’de çal›flt›¤› maden oca¤› kapand›¤› için iflsiz kalan bir iflçinin yeni- den bir yaflam kurma çabas›n›; Ken Loach’›n ‹flte Özgür Dünya’s›nda, göçmen iflçilerin güvencesiz dünyas›n› ve onlar›n s›rt›na basarak s›n›f atlamaya çabalayan iflçi s›n›f›ndan gelen bir kad›n›; 1954 yap›m› To¤ra¤›n Tuzu’nda bir grevi ve bu grevde bilinçlenip, 3 mücadeledeki yerlerini alan madenci efllerini; fiehir Sakin’de küreselleflme sonras›nda emekçi kentlerinin nas›l y›k›ma u¤rad›¤›n›; Sarhofl Atlar zaman›nda ‹ran, Irak ve Tür- kiye s›n›r›nda yoksulluk içinde yaflayan çocukluklar›; Merhaba Mr. Huh Dae-Soo’d Güney Kore’de sürekli ifllerini kaybetme endiflesi yafla- yan, iflleri için mücadele eden sendikal› iflçiler ile geçici iflçilerin gündelik yaflamlar›n›; Brukmanl› Kad›nlar’da Arjantin’de çal›flt›klar› fabrika patron taraf›ndan kapat›l›nca, fabrikalay› iflgal edip, hem üreten hem de yöneten kad›nlar›n mücadelelerini; Boliv- ya’da Koka yetifltiricilerini ve onlar› temsil eden yerli baflkan Evo Morales’i; Dünya Ayar›nda fiehirler Herkes ‹çin’de Güney Afrika’da FiFa 2010 Dünya Kupas› ön- cesinde yoksullu¤u görünmez k›lmak için yerlerinden edilen sokak sat›c›lar›n›n müca- delesini; Dünyay› Özellefltirmek’te ise, dünyan›n özel ç›karlara teslim edilmesinin so- nuçlar›n›, k›sacas› uzun bir tarihsel aral›kta, 25 ayr› co¤rafyada yap›lm›fl 50 filmi hep birlikte izleyece¤iz. Ve bir kez daha kapitalizmin tarihsel sonuçlar› ile yüzleflece¤iz.
