Cycle rallies, various competitions having message about voter awareness for students were organized at school and college level throughout Ahmednagar district. Campus Ambassadors were appointed throughout the district for enrollment of youth voters. N.S.S. & N.C.C. special camps were organized with voter awareness motive. Nehru Yuva Kendra of Ahmednagar district is a special invitee in district SVEEP committee. Nehru Yuva Kendra helped to spread the message of electoral awareness to youth students from village level. Special meetings with college principals were organized to motivate the new comer students. Street Plays were organized by young students having theme of electoral awareness. Cycle Rallies for awarness about electoral roll. Rallies for awareness about importance of vote. Painting Gallery about vote & its importance. Street Plays for awareness about election. Third gender registration- No Vote should be left out. Special camps for third gender electoral registration were organized in Ahmednagar district which results into 123 third genders registered their names in electoral roll. Various Competitions - Rangoli- about election and democracy. Painting- about election . NATIONAL VOTERS DAY 2017- RALLIES . NATIONAL VOTERS DAY 2017 DISTRIBUTION OF EPIC CARD TO YOUTH VOTERS. SPECIAL EFFORTS FOR ERROR FREE ELECTORAL ROLL. Correction of errors in E-Roll during revision period wef 16/9/16 to 23/10/16. Special camps were organized in throughout the district at every polling stations for removal of errors, duplicate EPIC no. and duplicate images. Inclusion of marginal groups e.g. sugarcane labors, migrant workers. In Pathardi Taluka of Ahmednagar District Exluded groups like Coal worker (Manikdaundi Village-800 to 1000 workers), sugarcane labuors (in Taklimanur & Koradgaon Village 1000-1200 workers) were identified and enrolled as voters in the electoral roll. Developing partnership with FM channels, AIR,ST corporation. Talk Shows are being organized on Ahmednagar FM channel about voter awareness. Appeals from Collector and District Election Officer, Ahmednagar for enrollment was transmitted from Ahmednagar AIR station, during every revision programme. Publicity of Enrollment Programmes. Various campaigns for giving wide publicity of revision programmes are being organized at every tahsil level as well as district level. Horadings and posters having voter awarness message are being pasted at crowded areas like ATMs, ST stand, temples. Bulk SMS are being spread having an appeal to register into electoral roll. Electoral roll were displayed and read at the time of gramsabhas. An appeal to enroll names in Electoral roll messages were shown in Cinema Halls and through local Cable Network. IDENTIFICATION OF TARGET GROUPS 18-19 YEARS YOUTH FOR PURIFICATION OF VOTERS LIST. Analysis of census data & its comparison with total voters was done at district level and essential directions are being issued to ERO & AERO level. Meetings with college principals are being arranged and directions to motivate the newcomer students for enrollment are being given from time to time. BLOs are being directed to visit house to house of their part number and data of youngsters completed their 18 years being collected. Various competitions were organized at college levels to encourage the youngsters for participating in electoral enrollment. NCC & NSS camps were arranged for having voter awareness message. Form no.6 are being distributed to the newcomer students at the time of admissions. Campus Ambassadors and Nodal Officers were appointed to encourage the youngsters. WOMEN REGISTRATION Special Gram sabha & ward sabha arranged to collect the data of actual number of women. Appeal is being made for registrations of women. Data of women delivered at PHC and sub center with their mobile no is being collected the names of skipped voters are being enrolled. Data of females of age 15 years and above is being collected from food distribution department. Analysis of village wise census data & comparison with total women voters in village is being done.
