I am pleased to announce Alejandra Peña-Gutiérrez as the fourth of four candidates invited to virtual public interviews in our national search for a new director of the University of Minnesota Weisman Art Museum.

I invite you to attend the candidate’s public forum, at which she will present her perspective on the role of a University art museum today, followed by Q & A.

The candidate forums are open to all stakeholders, internal and external, via the Zoom link. They will be recorded and may be viewed online with a University login or individual permission for a limited period. Links will be posted on the search webpage 24 hours after each forum. I invite you to provide your feedback about the candidates by completing a confidential evaluation by Tuesday, August 3.
