At the local level, the battle against climate change effects will have dramatic impact on economic, social and environmental issues of the town. For this reason we must act by reducing GHG emissions and promoting the uptake of CO2, focusing on the decrease of consumption of public lighting and buildings, promoting renewable energy production, raising awareness and informing households and economic activities, supporting the change of the transport and reducing mobility demands through the creation of proximity. Therefore the local government is committed through the Covenant of Mayors to participate actively in promote a substantial change over the conventional development model. This work is based on 5 main lines of action: 1 -. Public Administration CeroCO2, Been a example to citizenship. 2 -. Awareness and Outreach to Citizens. 3 .- Green Generation 4 -. The internal participation has brought together contributions from different areas of city government. External participation has been done through participations agencies, which have also contributed to the development of PAES.
