CROATIAN WILD CARD, TWO SPANIARDS FEATURED ON DAY TWO

Day 2 Preview: A Croatian wild card and two Spaniards are featured on day two as the first round concludes on Tuesday with 10 singles matches schedule at the Konzum Croatia Open Umag. Former World No. 9 and No. 5 seed Nicolas Almagro of meets Damir Dzumhur of for the first time. Almagro is No. 3 amongst active players with most wins on clay (272-137) and has reached 23 career ATP World Tour finals all on clay (13-10 mark in finals).

Following is a first-time meeting on the ATP World Tour between the 28-year-old Croatian wild card Franko Skugor and Italian Thomas Fabbiano. Skugor is looking for just his second tour-level win of the year, while Fabbiano is looking for his fourth. The final match of the day on Centre Court is a first time meeting between the Italian Andreas Seppi and the Spanish No. 6 seed Pablo Carreno Busta. Seppi is a two-time semi-finalist here and fell to the eventual champion on both occasions – 2010 (l. to Ferrero) and 2013 (l. to Robredo).
