“Angel Chills” PREFACE Hope Angels Came About When My Struggle As Hope Angel “Angel Chills” By Jeanne Leto PREFACE Hope Angels came about when my struggle as an intuitive and my belief in Christianity came to a colossal collision. Growing up sensitive - feeling, hearing, and seeing things beyond the physical realm - conflicted with the church’s teachings. I love God. I love Jesus Christ. I believe in each of them. One day, in conflict again with my abilities, I asked God what he wanted me to do. As plain as day, a voice said, “Give my people hope. Be a seer for me. Serve me and give hope.” Since that day, my reading sessions are in His hands. I do not seek to read at parties or force my work. Everything is now in God’s name, for His glory, and as I pray before each reading session, I call on God and His angels for guidance. Mostly, I pray for hope. God loves everyone, and everyone deserves hope. “Angel Chills” are simply what I get when I am feeling truth or when I am physically touched by angels. Hence, Hope Angels and Angel Chills. This book will teach you how to access God’s faithful angels. We were created by God for a purpose and so were His angels. Angels are appointed to serve, heal, protect, and guide. Each angel that serves God is waiting to help. I’ve been blessed to have experienced all three angelic realms including the highest order-- the seraphims! 1 Edited 02/19/2019 I invite you to enjoy the true experiences I’ve had as much as I did, and may you get “Angel Chills”. I’d like to thank all the angels in my life, the winged angels and the human loved ones. And not to forget my furry angelic ones: 16 cats, five deer, a fox, and a very sassy raccoon who may not exactly be an angel! Even so, Ray-Ray the raccoon is dearly loved. God sent me earth angels to complete this booklet. Linda Ciotola, a friend and “prayer sister” added a few of her own “angel chills” stories. I also want to thank Renee Shockley for contributing her true stories. And, I'm grateful the angels got me in to the artwork. Fellow artist Erin Fluharty supported my efforts when life slowed me down from the project. Although it's simple artwork, it felt good to complete a few pieces for the angel booklet. You can reach Linda Ciotola at www.healing-bridges.com Erin Fluharty is an artist in Easton, MD. Hope Angel prayer 1 Hope Angel, please stay always near. Hope Angel, your love for me is dear. Hope Angel, you never lead me astray. By darkness of night and by light of day, Hope Angel, you are always beside me. Because of you, God’s love I will always see. 2 Edited 02/19/2019 INTRODUCTION Growing up in a very small river-front town, I honestly could never comprehend why I was so different from the other children around me. It wasn’t that outdoor activity wasn’t enjoyable— swimming, dodgeball, softball, bike riding—but my sensitivity to animals and people, and hearing and feeling things around me that the other children couldn’t puzzled me. Every night since the age of two years old I’d get on my knees and ask God to protect me and my loved ones. There was always a sense of the “others”, good and bad. My earlier experiences were not too scary, but when I reached my teenage years the beings in the night became increasingly aggressive, so going to bed was a great source of anxiety. For years, until I entered my thirties, I pretty much shut down the “visitors” until a simple surgery went very wrong and I had a near-death experience. From that point forward, I could no longer escape the visitations. As I became physically stronger over a three-year period of hospital stays and a permanent change of lifestyle, I learned how to control and use my gifting. I learned about the various angels, I read scripture, and I prayed. Connecting to God has always been a blessing and a necessity for me. “ANGEL CHILLS” Angels, messengers of God, come in different light rays and have different abilities. They are all just a call away and I want to share true experiences of angels I’ve called upon. 3 Edited 02/19/2019 Working with angels has been magical and healing; each one holds a different place in my heart, and they are waiting to work with you. You don't have to be pious or religious to work with the angels. Just be yourself, holding only good intentions in your heart! ARCHANGEL MICHAEL Archangel Michael, whose name means “like God”, is my favorite. Archangel Michael defeated Satan in battle. He is known as a warrior and a strong protector of police officers, servicemen, fire fighters and other emergency responders. When I began teaching about angels, Archangel Michael showed up. Archangel Michael and Archangel Raphael (Healer of God) are the two angels I ask to assist during my client readings. During one angel class, as all the participants gathered into a large circle, I invited Archangel Michael to join us and protect us. As we prayed and called out to Archangel Michael, an enormous sapphire blue bolt of light descended into the circle. Everyone in the class was witness to the brilliant blue, and I saw his silhouette, including an outline of his sword. Each of us felt his power and peace. At one point, we even felt the tip of his sword upon our shoulders. Every attendee became flushed from feeling his heat. When the other angels touch us, we feel a chill, when Archangel Michael touches us, he delivers a sensation of heat. Both individual clients and those in my angel classes are touched by Archangels Michael and Raphael. 4 Edited 02/19/2019 There are innumerable Archangel Michael prayers on the internet, but all you have to do is call out to him, “Archangel Michael, Archangel Michael please come to me now. Protect me from evil and stay by my side day and night.” He will honor that invitation and come. Archangel Michael is the quintessential gentleman; ask and he will come. When Archangel Michael is near me, I see blue light, feel a sensation of heat, or find a feather. Animals are also indicators when Archangel Michael or any other angels are around. Animals become very peaceful, almost as if they were in a daze and will follow angels with their eyes. ARCHANGEL RAPHAEL Archangel Raphael’s ray of light is emerald-green. He is a healing angel but can also be called upon when someone is traveling. The Bible mentions Archangel Raphael as traveling with a young man, Tobias. The Bible also shares how Archangel Raphael healed a young woman of an evil spirit, as well as healing the father of Tobias of blindness. Whereas Archangel Michael is known for heat, and coming in from the South, Archangel Raphael uses both hot and cold touches to do his healing work and comes in from the East. To invoke Archangel Raphael, simply call out his name three times. Lighting candles also signals both Archangel Michael and Archangel Raphael that they are invited to come. 5 Edited 02/19/2019 ARCHANGEL GABRIEL Archangel Gabriel is the Angel of the North, where Heaven is. His name means “God is my strength”. In the Bible, Archangel Gabriel made several announcements for God including the birth of Jesus and bringing messages to those in need. He also assisted with writing spiritual books. Archangel Gabriel has a very white light appearance along with gold and silver rays from his countenance. When you need to write something, call out Archangel Gabriel’s name several times. The day of Jesus is coming, and when that day arrives Archangel Gabriel will hover over earth blowing his horn as he did more than two thousand years ago to Mary, Joseph, and the Wiseman. ARCHANGEL AZRAEL While the spirit of death comes to take life, the angel of death, Archangel Azrael, or “Help from God”, assists with crossing from life to death. Archangel Azrael also helps comfort the family of the dying bringing peace to the process. While his duty isn’t the most popular, Archangel Azrael is very loving. ARCHANGEL URIEL Coming from the west is Archangel Uriel who is known for lightning strikes. During one of my angel group session held near Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay, Archangel Uriel, meaning “God is my light”, came through in a dramatic way. As we started the group by praying, and as I gave prophetic messages to some of the women present, it became windy and a massive lightning bolt hit the property of the group’s hostess. I witnessed him drop from the sky 6 Edited 02/19/2019 on a mystic white horse just as the lightning hit. During another experience, I was sitting on the pier behind my home with a friend who was visiting from Miami. We called out to Archangel Michael from the south, Archangel Gabriel from the north, Archangel Raphael from the east, and Archangel Uriel from the west. My friend and I briefly took notice that Archangel Uriel was not there and then suddenly, the wind picked up and the sky darkened. A short time later came the lightning that hit my town on Maryland’s Kent Island. Archangel Uriel made the journey to join us after all. Better late than never! Considered as the earth angel who protects the planet, environment, and elements Archangel Uriel is known to give us “lightning bolt” ideas as well as wisdom.

  • Archangels Michael and Zadkiel
Archangels Michael and Zadkiel Michael is the great Archangel of God who has committed himself to the protection of the Son's (and daughters) of God. He carries a sword of Light to cut humanity free of the burdens of darkness that it sometimes carries. He is the Prince of Archangels and defeated Satan, who chose to turn from God and oppress mankind. He is the crusader of the Christ who will protect the soul of man and bring the presence of peace to those who choose to ask his help. He champions the Will of God and not the lower will of humanity. Yet with Love He will help humanity find the Divine path and protect the souls of those that chose it. Zadkiel is the Archangel of the violet flame. Zadkiel is the angel of the flame of forgiveness and of spiritual freedom. Love is the essence of all angels and Zadkiel, in love, will help mankind free themselves from the bonds of pain and karma they have created. The violet flame cleanses humanity of the accumulated debris of hatred and helps re-establish freedom, by transmuting mankind's mis-creations into the pure essence of Light that flows from God. We can choose to understand and feel the spiritual qualities of these two of God's messengers. We will ask for God's blessing through these angels and search for understanding of our role in God's creation. Archangel Gabriel I want to share some experiences I had with Archangel Gabriel. I had received wonderful upliftment and I believe we can all receive that.

  • The Truth About Angels
PROJECT CONNECT PROJECT CONNECT PROJECT CONNECT The Truth About Angels by Donald L. Deffner I grew up during the Great Depression in the early 1930s. My father was a minister. Behind our small home was a dirt alley which led nine blocks to downtown Wichita, Kansas. I can remember when I was a boy the hungry, destitute men who came to the back door begging for food. My mother never turned them down. She shared what little we had, even if only a couple of pieces of bread and a glass of milk. My mother didn’t just say, “Depart in peace! I’ll pray for you! Keep warm and well fed!” (See James 2:16.) No. She acted. She gave. Often I was curious about these mysterious and somewhat scary men. I had a sense that they were “different” than I was, not worse, not better, just different. I always watched these strangers heading back up the alley toward downtown, and sometimes, in a cops-and-robbers fashion, I secretly followed them, jumping behind bushes so I wouldn’t be seen. I think I half expected them to suddenly disappear. After all, my Sunday school teacher, encouraging us to be kind and care for strangers, told us the Bible says that, by doing so, many people have entertained angels without knowing it (see Hebrews 13:2). I never saw any of the men disappear. They were ordinary, hungry human beings. But my Sunday school teacher was right. God does send His angels to us, and they do interact with us—not just to test us and see if we are kind, but to protect us and guide us.

1 TTHE DDOCTRINE OF AANGELS PPART 22 HOW ARE ANGELS ORGANIZED? Although the Bible doesn’t describe in detail the hierarchy within the angelic realm, enough evidence exists to show that some organization exists Classification 1. Archangel – the highest ranking angel Michael is the only angel designated archangel and may possibly be the only one of this rank His name means “who is like God?” Apparently, Michael is one of the chief princes (see #2 below) As the chief angel of God, he especially watches over Israel (Daniel 10:13, 21; 12:1) and leads the holy angels (Revelation 12:7) Jude 9~ But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil 1 Thessalonians 4:16 ~ For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 2. Chief Princes Daniel 10:13 ~ But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia. 3. Rulers, Authorities, Thrones, Dominions, Powers Colossians 1:16 ~ whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created by Him 4. Cherubim Cherubim are the highest group/order of angels, created with great powers and beauty Their main purpose is to proclaim and protect God’s glorious presence and sovereignty Genesis 3:24 ~ east of the garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim Exodus 25:22 ~ There I will meet with you; and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about all that I will give you in commandment for the sons of Israel.

Christian Angelology Angelology Introduction Why study Angels? They teach us about God As part of God’s creation, to study them is to study why God created the way he did. In looking at angels we can see God’s designs for his creation, which tells us something about God himself. They teach us about ourselves We share many similar qualities to the angels. We also have several differences due to them being spiritual beings. In looking at these similarities and differences we can learn more about the ways God created humanity. In looking at angels we can avoid “angelic fallacies” which attempt to turn men into angels. They are fascinating! Humans tend to be drawn to the supernatural. Spiritual beings such as angels hit something inside of us that desires to “return to Eden” in the sense of wanting to reconnect ourselves to the spiritual world. They are different, and different is interesting to us. Fr. J. ANGELS IN ISLAM A Commentary with Selected Translations of Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī’s Al-Ḥabā’ik fī akhbār al- malā’ik (The Arrangement of the Traditions about Angels) S. R. Burge Doctor of Philosophy The University of Edinburgh 2009 A loose-leaf from a MS of al-Qazwīnī’s, cAjā’ib fī makhlūqāt (British Library) Source: Du Ry, Carel J., Art of Islam (New York: Abrams, 1971), p. 188 0.1 Abstract This thesis presents a commentary with selected translations of Jalāl al-Dīn cAbd al- Raḥmān al-Suyūṭī’s Al-Ḥabā’ik fī akhbār al-malā’ik (The Arrangement of the Traditions about Angels). The work is a collection of around 750 ḥadīth about angels, followed by a postscript (khātima) that discusses theological questions regarding their status in Islam. The first section of this thesis looks at the state of the study of angels in Islam, which has tended to focus on specific issues or narratives. However, there has been little study of the angels in Islamic tradition outside studies of angels in the Qur’an and eschatological literature. This thesis hopes to present some of this more general material about angels. The following two sections of the thesis present an analysis of the whole work. The first of these two sections looks at the origin of Muslim beliefs about angels, focusing on angelic nomenclature and angelic iconography. The second attempts to understand the message of al-Suyūṭī’s collection and the work’s purpose, through a consideration of the roles of angels in everyday life and ritual.

  • The Twelve Works of Our Guardian Angel
The Twelve Works of our Guardian Angel By St. Bonaventure of Bagnoregio, OFM Doctor of the Church According to Sacred Scripture there are twelve works of charity which our guardian Angel does for us. THE FIRST is to rebuke us for our faults. According to the Book of Judges, chapter 2, verse 1: The Angel of the Lord ascends from Galgala to the place of those weeping and says: “I have lead you forth from the land of Egypt . And you have not heard my voice.” THE SECOND is to absolve us from the bonds of our sins. According to Book of Acts, chapter 12, verse 7: The Angel stood by . and the chains fell from his hands; yet this must be understood as disposing this to happen. THE THIRD is to take away from us those things impeding our progress in good- ness, which is signified in the Book of Exodus, chapter 12, verse 12: where the Angel struck the first born of Egypt. THE FOURTH is to constrain those demons afflicting us, according the Book of Tobias, chapter 12, verse 3: “He chased the demon from my wife”, says Tobias of the Archangel St. Raphael. THE FIFTH is to teach us, according to the Book of Daniel, chapter 9, verse 22: Now I have entered, to teach you, and so that you might understand. THE SIXTH is to reveal secrets, for accor- ding to the Book of Genesis, chapter 18, verse 17, the three Angels expressed the Mystery of the Trinity and Unity, after which God said: Can I conceal from Abraham what I am about to do? THE SEVENTH is to console, according to the Book of Tobias, chapter 5, verse 13: Be of a strong spirit, it is nigh, that you are to be cured by God etc.
