NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS • ROYAL CANIN RING & HOTEL RULES
1. No forced-air or hand held hair dryers; no fans. 2. No exercise pens allowed in front of Royal Canin Ring or Hotel. Exercise pens around the perimeter of the entire building are strongly discouraged. 3. No exercise or potty pens permitted inside Royal Canin Ring . 4. No soft crates are permitted inside Royal Canin Ring . 5. No crates permitted ringside that are not on dollies. 6. Marked crating areas MUST be observed. 7. Crates must be stacked. 8. All dogs are required to be on-leash at Royal Canin Ring and Hotel at all times (except when crated or as required to be judged). 9. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult when on show grounds. 10. Building will be locked from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each day. NO DOGS TO BE LEFT IN BUILDING OVERNIGHT.

OFFICIAL NOTICE: Additional Judges. Reference Chapter 7, Section 13 of AKC Rules: Owner has the right to withdraw his entry and have his entry fee refunded provided notification of his withdrawal is received no later than one half-hour prior to the start of any regular conformation judging. Mrs. Nancy Liebes is deleted from the panel. Mr. Fred Bassett will judge Airedale Terriers, American Hairless Terriers, Bedlington Terriers, Border Terriers, Fox Terriers (Smooth & Wire), Kerry Blue Terriers, Miniature Bull Terriers, Miniature Schnauzers, Parson Russell Terriers, Russell Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, West Highland White Terriers in place of Mrs. Nancy Liebes. Tom Hale will judge Barbet, Weimaraners, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffons as well as the Sporting Group in place of Mrs. Nancy Liebes. Tom Hale will also judge Vizslas, Australian Shepherds, and Labrador Retrievers in place of Mr. James Moses. April 3 & 4, 2021 13 Warren County Kennel Club of Ohio, Inc (WCKC) April 2021 Shows The Clinton County Health Department and the WCKC are requiring the following: • Temperature tes ng will be done, upon entrance to show grounds. • Masks are required to be worn in the rings, in any of the buildings, in restrooms, in the camping area, vendors, and any area where you could be in contact with people without social distancing. • A six-foot social distancing must be done. • Gloves are op onal. • There will be an entrance and exit in the rings. • The armbands will be passed out at rings by the ring stewards. • This show will be a show and go, due to Covid-19. You will be required to leave the building to keep area clear for the next exhibitors to show. • The procedures might be a li le different, we suggest that you not be moved as a group due to the social distancing and you should be showing your dog’s bite. • The group rings may be larger than normal, so we can have social distancing. • We will have a self-clean up show. Pick up a er your dogs. • Restrooms will be clean three mes a day and checked on every hour. • Remember this is Show N Go – no gathering of people! • Hand sani zer sta ons will be provided. • We recommend no spectators and no chairs provided.
COVID-19 OperaƟng Guidelines The WCKC Organizers will work with state and local governments and public health authori es prior to the start of the cluster to determine risks and mi ga on measures. On Site Process and Procedures WCKC shall require temperature monitoring for volunteers, officials, compe on staff and service providers once daily prior to entering the show grounds. Any person with a temperature equal to 99.5° F (37.5° C) or higher will not be allowed to enter the grounds. The following individuals will not be permi ed on the show grounds: • Any individual who exhibits COVID-19 symptoms, • Any individual who has tested posi ve for COVID-19 within the last two weeks, or • Any individual who has been in contact with someone who has tested posi ve for COVID-19 within the last two weeks. The WCKC will post signage that displays all applicable federal, state and local regula ons, requirements and orders as well as CDC guidelines as they relate to mass gatherings and spor ng events in effect at the me of the show. Signage will be posted at all entrances to the show grounds which iden fies the symptoms of COVID-19 and states the following: • To protect others from possible transmission of the virus, anyone who exhibits COVID-19 symptoms or has been in contact with someone who has tested posi ve for COVID-19 within the last two weeks (excep on, healthcare personnel who have treated pa ents using appropriate medical-grade PPE during the course of performing professional du es), cannot enter the show grounds. These individuals are encouraged to contact their health care provider immediately for further medical advice and must obtain documented clearance

Par cipants must assume responsibility for themselves and their own staff (e.g., assistants, etc.). • Recommenda ons about good hygiene along with informing par cipants and others about ways to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Social Distancing & LimiƟng Entries At all mes, WCKC shall enforce social distancing requirements throughout the show’s compe on areas: • Prohibit the public, spectators, and non-essen al personnel such as guests from being in the compe on areas. Non-par cipants may not watch the compe ons. • Organize dog and exhibitor arrivals and departures to limit contact between people, (e.g., show me start is 9:00 A.M., all exhibiters must leave the area immediately a er showing the dog and cannot return unless another dog is to be shown in another me slot) • Arrange judges’ and other officials’ areas to comply with social distancing requirements. • Restrict show office and judge’s hospitality access to essen al personnel only, configure the space and limited entry will be in place, as necessary. • There will be no extra gathering ac vi es (raffles, temperament tests) • Regardless of the scope of the limita on, the limi ng of entries must be done on a first come, first serve basis and relevant informa on will be posted on the Superintendent’s website. • Configure grooming to comply with social distancing requirements to manage concentra on of dogs and people. Enforcement Authority WCKC Stewards, Club members and AKC officials will inform individuals when they are not in compliance with the regula ons and requirements in effect at the show and shall report such situa ons to the WCKC Show Officials and AKC. The WCKC has the authority to remove any person from the facility who does not comply with the regula ons and requirements in effect. If an individual needs an accommoda on under the American Disabili es Act, request should be submi ed, along with documenta on of the disability and need for accommoda on. Requests for accommoda ons will be reviewed on a confiden al basis with a medical consultant. Par cipants are required to comply with these, and any addi onal WCKC requirements, at all mes while present on the show grounds. Failure to do so may result in expulsion from the grounds. These requirements are in effect immediately and un l further no ce; however, they are subject to revisions as the COVID-19 environment changes. Recommended Best PracƟces for WCKC The following Recommended Best Prac ces have been provided to assist Show Organizers with determining risks and developing measures to mi gate those risks: • Limit the number of entrances and exits to the show area to manage the number of individuals accessing the compe on grounds. All entrances and exits must be manned to limit access. • Communica on – Use radio, cell phone communica on methods as much as possible and communicate important informa on frequently throughout the show grounds. ConsideraƟons for Club Members, Medical Personnel, Service Providers & Volunteers • Cleaning/Sani zing Loca ons • Provide hand sani za on sta ons with access to soap and water or alcohol-based hand sani zer at several areas throughout the grounds. • Provide hand sani zer to all officials, ring crew, clean up and medical personnel.

Ring Procedure • All dogs enter on one side of the ring and exit on the other. • Dogs will stand in the designated area, where the judge will move down the line from each exhibitor and examine the dog. The exhibitor and dog will move down and back from the same spot and then around coming back to the same spot. The judge will point to the dog for its placement while standing in a designated area (spaced 6 feet away from the other dogs). The judge will not move dogs around to put them in placement order. Vendors • Advise any service providers (e.g., vendors, food service, etc.) to take precau ons in accordance with federal, state, and local regula ons and CDC guidelines. • Vendor area will be outside of the compe on area to allow all day access. Vendors will comply with social distancing in their vendor space. Grooming area ConsideraƟons • Restrict access to the grooming areas to veterinarians, exhibitors, officials, and other essen al personnel. • Through signage, inform all personnel in the Grooming area to comply with all best prac ces and guidelines in effect at the show. • NO BLOW DRYERS, FORCE DRYER, OR FANS IN THE BUILDING. • No crates or dogs le in the building. • You can bring your dogs inside no earlier than 15 minutes before showing and must leave within 15 minutes a er showing. • Provide hand sani za on sta ons in the Grooming area. • A waiver must be signed, temperature taken daily, and a wrist band will be provided indica ng the person’s temperature meets requirements.
