\ BIOS Dickie Arbiter Royal expert Dickie Arbiter is best known for being the most in demand of all the former press secretaries to HM The Queen. Subsequently he is the man the world’s press always call upon for fi rst class and expert Royal opinion for Dickie’s experience of working closely with HM The Queen and other leading Royals, and consequently, he has such unique knowledge. At from 1988 to 2000 Dickie was also responsible for organising the media coverage for Princess Diana’s funeral. He retired from the Palace in 2000 and is now a global broadcaster and journalist with over fi fty years’ experience. Dickie is in demand as a popular speaker, and Dickie’s memoirs, On Duty with the Queen was published by Blink. Katie Nicholl Katie Nicholl is a freelance writer, author and broadcaster based in the UK. Best known as Vanity Fair’s Royal Editor Katie has reported on the Royal Family for 15 years. She is a regular commentator on the BBC, ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Sky News and some of America’s biggest shows including Entertainment Tonight on CBS. Her debut book ‘William and Harry’ was a New York Times best seller and Katie has since written ‘Kate The Future Queen’ and ‘Harry and Meghan Life Loss and Love’ published by Hachette books. She will be publishing a new book about the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the summer.

Francis Cornish Francis Cornish joined the Foreign Office in 1968. After serving in London, Malaysia and Indonesia, he took over the Greek desk in London in 1973. He was posted to Bonn in 1976 to handle European Community affairs, before returning to London in 1980 as Assistant Private Secretary to the Prince of Wales. He took up the post just months before Prince Charles became engaged to Diana Spencer, and left soon after their first visits together to Australia, New Zealand and Canada. He became High Commissioner to Brunei in 1983, moving on to Washington three years later where he handled all media and public diplomacy there and in New York. In 1990 he took over as spokesman to the Foreign Secretary (Douglas Hurd) for three years before going to Hong Kong to prepare for the Handover in 1997 when he became the first British Consul General there. After a spell as a Director of the Royal College of Defence Studies, he became Ambassador to Israel in 1998 and remained there until his retirement from the Foreign Service in 2002.

Penny Junor Penny Junor remains a well known face on our TV screens and is a writer, journalist and broadcaster, who commentates widely on royal matters. She is the author of highly acclaimed Sunday Times Bestsellers including biographies of both the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William, Prince Harry and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. The Firm was an analysis of the British monarchy. Amongst other subjects she has written about two British prime ministers and ghostwritten autobiographies for Sir , , and Shaun Ellis, the man who lived with wolves. He latest book was about the Queen’s dogs.

Chris Gidney Chris Gidney is your host for the themed cruise and has spent a lifetime as entertainer, producer and author, working with numerous artistes from the legendary Frank Sinatra to Sir Cliff Richard. Chris joined London’s West-End in 1980 to enjoy twelve consecutive London productions before moving to BBC Television, and has authored 28 commercially published books and six pantomimes, as well as articles and scripts for the BBC and national press. As a freelance producer, Chris is responsible for a number of unique stage, television and radio shows for That’s Entertainment Productions, and has enjoyed creating and producing over forty themed cruises which have taken him around the world.
