    Jigarthanda Popsicle Recipe / Madurai Jil Jil Jigarthanda Kulfi Jigarthanda is a popular milk based energy drink sold in many restaurants and road side shops in south India. Jigar means “liver /heart /mind” Thanda means “cooling”. Jigarthanda Popsicle is prepared with almond tree gum (Badam Pisin), nannari syrup, milk and sugar. I already posted the authentic madurai Jigarthanda recipe in my blog. This is my favourite drink and I will never miss this drink when ever I go to Madurai. Coming to the jigarthanda popsicle recipe, here I used vanilla extract in place of nannari syrup and I used condensed milk in place of ice cream. I have no idea whether this jigardhanda popsicle available in shops, this is my own creative recipe by following the jigarthanda recipe. The idea of making this popsicle was in my mind for long time, at last I tried it last week. Woo-ooh, it was so rich, creamy and yummy. Here in US, summer has started it’s getting hot so this madurai jil jil jigarthada kulfi helps me to cool the body instantly. I bet the kids will love this for sure. Email: [email protected] Abstract: This paper explores the relationship between beers and island development, using a global sweep but with a special reference to the insular Pacific. It adopts a discriminatory approach, touching upon the role and impact that niche and bouquet beer manufacturing can have on the socioeconomic development of small islands. It departs from a personal observation: many small island jurisdictions have their own brewery. Indeed, the brewery could also be the island territory’s largest indigenous manufacturing concern. While small islands are associated with low manufactur- ing capacity and diseconomies of scale, nevertheless ‘a local brewery’ comes across, in many cases, as a profitable and glaring exception that speaks to the attractions and virtues of locality branding. The deal’s value will not be exceeding $28.5 million, according to BCPG’s filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand. BCPG’s president Bundit Sapianchai said that this investment is in line with its strategy to expand its renewable energy business in terms of technology and geography in order to increase corporate value and diversify risk. The filing cited the holding company holds a 40-per-cent equity in PetroWind Energy Inc, one of the major players in wind power business there. “CapAsia is very pleased with our successful partnership with Petrogreen Energy and confirms the sale and purchase terms and conditions of its 40% equity interest in Petrowind with BCPG,” Devarshi Das, Co-CEO of CapAsia, told DEALSTREETASIA via email. “We were able to work closely with our partner to drive improvements in operations, given our prior wind power investment experience as well as relationships with best-in-class technical and operations experts. Petrowind is now delivering strong and consistent operating performance and we believe it is positioned for continued success in the future.” PetroWind Energy currently owns an operating 36-MW wind power project and another development project of 14-MW wind power plant, located in Nabas, the Philippines.

    Hanoi a beer drinker's haven (11/10/2012) Hanoi has been named one of the cheapest and best places to drink fresh beer in Asia by travel guides and journalists, thanks to its lively drinking culture. Many tourists look forward to the chance to join local Hanoians and enjoy the city's famous Bia Hoi (fresh beer) - a light-bodied pilsner without preservatives that is brewed and delivered daily to drinking places throughout the capital. Hanoi has become a magnet for tourists who enjoy drinking beer, which is readily available at local pavement shops as well as in luxurious bars. There are thousands of corner bars with tiny plastic stools set out on the sidewalk and small low tables laden with glasses of beer. Visitors should taste Vietnamese beer and learn how local people drink. "Mot, hai, bazo!! (One, two, three go!!) and "Tram phan tram! ("100 percent" or "bottoms up") are common chants that accompany a drinking session in these local establishments. "Bia Hoi is one of things you should not miss when you come to Hanoi, says Thomas, a foreign tourist who chooses Hanois old quarter as his favourite place to imbibe a cool brew. He says he likes Hanoi beer because it is very cheap and delicious. Another thing that amazes visitors is that the beer bars are mostly on the sidewalk where drinkers sometimes have to raise their voices over the din of motorbike traffic or breathe in the clouds of diesel exhaust belched over the plastic tables by a passing bus. "Sitting on the pavement, listening to the mixed sounds, drinking beer and just looking at what's happening around me has become my habit during my time in Hanoi, Thomas elaborates.

The convent, established in 1854 in central Singapore, is now the ‗premier lifestyle destination‘, CHIJMES. I show that the Sisters were early providers of social services and girls‘ education, with an orphanage, women‘s refuge and schools for girls. They survived the turbulent years of the Japanese Occupation of Singapore and adapted to the priorities of the new government after independence, expanding to become the largest cloistered convent in Southeast Asia.
