(Left) Nicky is a 7-8 year old Maltese mix male dog. He is friendly with most people, but is a bit people- selective at times (mainly with strangers). We would suggest meeting him a few times before adopting so he can get to know you. He has a alpha male personality so he would do best as the only dog. No small kids. No cats. One person household. (Right) Bridges is a 4 year old Maine Coon male cat (both age and breed are guesstimates). He was surren- dered by his owners with a gaping wound, most likely a bite, and his fur was completely matted. We have no idea what this poor cat has been through but with med- ical care and some TLC from our volunteers, Bridges is healing wonderfully. We promise you, Bridges, you will never be hurt again. *Bridges is a diabetic and needs a daily injection. .New Beginning Animal Rescue is located at 2515 Newbold Avenue.
