Les deux champions de France défendront leur titre dès les phases de poules qui débuteront le samedi 16 novembre 2019 pour les messieurs et le dimanche 17 novembre 2019 pour les dames. Chez les dames, le Tennis Club de Paris, qui avait remporté pour la sixième fois de son histoire le titre l’an passé, fera partie des grands favoris à la victoire finale. Le club de la capitale, placé dans la poule A et emmené par Pauline Parmentier et Amandine Hesse, devra néanmoins se méfier de l’ASPTT Montpellier, qui pourra compter sur la Russe Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, l’Allemande Andrea Petkovic, ainsi que sur les Françaises Tatiana Golovin et Tessah Andrianjafitrimo. Dans cette poule, le Club de Saint-Dié, qui a notamment dans ses rangs la Roumaine Mihaela Buzarnescu et la Française Chloé Paquet, tentera également de tirer son épingle du jeu. Dans la poule B, l’ASPTT Metz, finaliste l’an passé, tentera une nouvelle fois d’accéder à la finale.
