Conspiracy Topics Conspiracy Topics The JFK Assassination* Oswald wasn't acting alone. When the president was hit by the bullet that killed him, the motorcade was passing a grassy knoll on the north side of Elm Street . 9/11 Cover-Up* The planning and execution of the September 11, 2001 attacks against the United States to parties other than, or in addition to, al-Qaeda[1] or claim there was advance knowledge of the attacks among high-level government officials. The Moon Landings Were Faked* We didn’t really land on the moon any of those times we claimed we did from 1969-72 . Bigfoot* He’s real. Loch ness monster* It’s real. MH370 flight This flight from Malasia disappeared into thin air, it seems. Was it abducted by aliens? Shot down? Several theories exist. Paul Is Dead Paul McCartney actually died in the 1960s and the guy we think is him is actually an imposter. Jesus and Mary Magdalene She was not just a once-prostitute-turned-Christian; she was Jesus’ wife. Holocaust Revisionism The Holocaust never happened; evidence is all fake. The CIA and AIDS The government actually created the AIDS virus to wipe out people they deemed “undesirable” . The Reptilian Elite Shape-shifting reptilian aliens control Earth by taking on human form and gaining political power . Global warming is a hoax Science behind global warming has been invented or distorted for ideological or financial reasons, or both . Tupac is alive (Elvis, too) There are other celebrities besides Tupac and Elvis that some believe have faked their deaths; look into as many as you choose. PanAm Flight 103 A commercial flight went down in 1988; there are several theories on what happened. The US knew about Pearl Harbor in advance of the attack Churchill and Roosevelt knew in advance of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor; they allowed it to happen so the U.S. would have a reason to enter WWII. Black/unmarked helicopter surveillance United Nations patrolled the US with unmarked black helicopters, or that federal agents used black helicopters to enforce wildlife laws. The government watches us…all the time. MK-ULTRA An allegded CIA mind-control program, Project MKULTRA used experiments on humans that were intended to identify and develop drugs and procedures to be used in interrogations and torture. Scientology runs/rules Hollywood Not only does it run Hollywood, but lots of other things in the world, too. Several mysteries and conspiracies swirl around scientology. TWA Flight 800 The crash of TWA 800 was due to causes other than those determined by the National Transportation Safety which stated that the cause of the crash of TWA Flight 800 was an explosion of flammable fuel/air vapors in a fuel tank, most likely from a short-circuit. Vril Society Conspiracy – secret form of energy controlled and wielded by superior beings A book was written about a superior subterranean master race and the energy-form called "Vril." A Many believe the book, which suggested that a secret Vril Society existed in pre-Nazi Berlin. Digital TV Transmission/spying, mind control, subliminal advertising The reason cable just went all digital? Government mind control… Project Solar Warden Solar Warden” is a reference to a space fleet consisting of two large cigar-shaped motherships and 43 smaller disc-shaped spacecrafts. The elite and wealthy created the fleet and are looking for other planets to go to when earth becomes inhabitable. GMO conspiracy Genetically modified food is going to kill us all. Phantom Time Hypothesis Holy Roman Emperor Otto III, Pope Sylvester II, and possibly the Byzantine Emperor Constantine VII, fabricated the Anno Domini dating system, so that it placed them at the special year of AD 1000, and to rewrite history, inventing many historic events that did not actually occur. Toy Story = Marxism The movie is about more than toys; several theories exist. It’s about the Holocaust, it’s Marxist propaganda, etc. John Lennon murdered by CIA order Mark Chapman, who shot Lennon, was actually a CIA hit man hired to kill him. Breaking Bad is a prequel to The Walking Dead Jesse and Walt were responsible for the zombie outbreak. .

Did Paul McCartney die in 1969? | Landscape Design, Find Projects, Plan... http://xmastreeswreaths.com/did-paul-mccartney-die-in-1969/ search Home About Contact Site Map Did Paul McCartney die in 1969? 15th July, 2010 | Posted by | An astounding rumor swept the music world in 1969: Paul McCartney was dead. So-called proof that the Beatle had been decapitated in a 1966 car crash came in the form of clues allegedly planted by the surviving Beatles in their songs and album cover art. You’d think that after countless McCartney solo tours and albums, the cockamamie Paul Is Dead conspiracy theory would not have a single believer outside a mental asylum. But more than 40 years after McCartney asserted he was very much alive in a Life magazine cover story, Los Angeles-based documentary filmmaker Joel Gilbert is attempting to cast doubt on his existence with a DVD, set for Aug. 24 release, called “Paul 1 of 4 7/22/2010 11:54 AM Did Paul McCartney die in 1969? | Landscape Design, Find Projects, Plan... http://xmastreeswreaths.com/did-paul-mccartney-die-in-1969/ McCartney Really Is Dead: The Last Testament of George Harrison.” “About 10 years ago I became familiar with the Paul is Dead urban legend,” Gilbert said from L.A. “Friends showed me some clues on some of the album covers and I thought it was pretty fascinating. I remember thinking that it can’t all be coincidence. Either it’s a massive inside joke by the Beatles or maybe there’s something to it. But I didn’t really think too much further.” That is until 2005, when two anonymously-sent audiotapes, purportedly with the voice of the late Harrison, showed up at Gilbert’s office.

  • Paul Is Dead? Differences and Similarities Before and After Paul
Paul is Dead? Differences and Similarities before and after Paul McCartney’s Supposed Death. Stylometric Analysis on Transcribed Interviews Antonio Pascucci, Raffaele Manna, Johanna Monti Vincenzo Masucci L’Orientale University of Naples Expert System Corp. Naples, UNIOR NLP Research Group Italy Naples, Italy [email protected] [apascucci,rmanna,jmonti]@unior.it Abstract English. In this paper, we show the results of a stylometric analysis conducted on Paul McCartney’s interview transcriptions using three different approaches in order to detect differences and similarities in his speeches before and after 9th November 1966, the date of his supposed death. Our research is based on the Let IT Corpus, a corpus of Paul McCartney’s Interview Transcriptions. The corpus is a collection of texts from the Beatles Interviews Database, a repertoire of one-hundred sixty-three Beatles’ interviews freely available on the Web (http://www.beatlesinterviews.org/), and from other interviews available on YouTube. Italiano. 1 Introduction Paul McCartney’s supposed death (dated 9th November 1966 because of a car accident) represents a legend which does not belong to the music business only but embraces other worlds, both for Paul McCartney’s fame given by Beatles’ everlasting success, and because of many stories born around this episode.

  • 1967: a Year in the Life of the Beatles
1967: A Year In The Life Of The Beatles History, Subjectivity, Music Linda Engebråten Masteroppgave ved Institutt for Musikkvitenskap UNIVERSITETET I OSLO November 2010 Acknowledgements First, I would like to express my gratitude towards my supervisor Stan Hawkins for all his knowledge, support, enthusiasm, and his constructive feedback for my project. We have had many rewarding discussions but we have also shared a few laughs about that special music and time I have been working on. I would also like to thank my fellow master students for both useful academically discussions as much as the more silly music jokes and casual conversations. Many thanks also to Joel F. Glazier and Nancy Cameron for helping me with my English. I thank John, Paul, George, and Ringo for all their great music and for perhaps being the main reason I begun having such a big interest and passion for music, and without whom I may not have pursued a career in a musical direction at all. Many thanks and all my loving to Joakim Krane Bech for all the support and for being so patient with me during the course of this process. Finally, I would like to thank my closest ones: my wonderful and supportive family who have never stopped believing in me. This thesis is dedicated to my grandparents. There are places I'll remember All my life though some have changed. Some forever not for better Some have gone and some remain. All these places have their moments With lovers and friends I still can recall. Some are dead and some are living, In my life I've loved them all.

  • 'Paul Is Dead' Conspiracy Theory in the Golden Age of Paranoia
Theory and Practice in English Studies Volume 9, No. 1–2, 2020 E-ISSN: 1805-0859 ‘ANOTHER CLUE FOR YOU ALL’: THE HYSTERICAL REALISM OF THE ‘PAUL IS DEAD’ CONSPIRACY THEORY IN THE GOLDEN AGE OF PARANOIA Tereza Walsbergerová Abstract When a rumor spread in 1969, that Paul McCartney had died and been replaced by a double, American Beatlemaniacs scrambled to examine every album in search of death clues.’ This paper examines the Paul Is Dead conspiracy theory by build- ing on studies of the cult of celebrity, James Wood’s concept of hysterical realism, Emily Apter’s concept of “oneworldedness”, and Timothy Melley’s theory of “agency panic.” It ultimately argues that our tendency to bury celebrities and create alternate (paranoid) narratives about them stems not only from our re- jection of consensus reality but also our simultaneous desire to mythologize our idols to seek comfort in eras of social uncertainty. Keywords Hysterical realism, agency panic, oneworldedness, cult of celebrity, death, celeb- rity death conspiracies, conspiracy theories, paranoia, the condition of postmoder- nity, doubles, Beatlemania, Paul McCartney, The Beatles * * * 1. The Spectacle of Celebrity Death AS a phenomenon in which the cult of celebrity intersects with the uncanniness of death, celebrity death has the power to fascinate, affect, and even – in extreme cases – mobilize the public. More importantly, as a spectacle, celebrity death occupies a unique place in pop culture, because it provides an opportunity for the public to participate in the narratives of celebrities, something that would otherwise not be possible. Daniel Harris argues that what lies beneath our fascination with celebrity death are in fact our unconscious “yearnings for equality” (Harris 2011, 889).
