PROGRAM Thank you to this year's Sponsors! Overall Sponsor Platinum Sponsors Gold Sponsors Silver Sponsors Bronze Sponsors Dear Day at the Capitol Attendee Dear Day at the Capitol Attendee, Welcome to our annual Day at the Capitol program – the most relevant yet. As we settle into 2021, the political environment presents many challenges. On a Federal level, we have a new president with a new agenda for healthcare. We have tighter margins in Congress and the US Senate. On a State level, one party controls the Governor’s office, State House and State Senate. This year we face the prospects of a Public Option and Health Sharing Ministries bill along with numerous other pieces of legislation that have the potential to change the landscape of Colorado and our industry. All the while, our Federal Government is still navigating the murky waters of COVID-19 relief, economic stimulus, and deficiencies in our health care delivery model across the country. As CSAHU members, we strive to remain informed for our clients. That is why we are all here today. We must work together to protect the interests of our clients and our industry as a whole. By being engaged in the legislative process we keep a seat at the table in the ongoing debate of healthcare and providing valuable input that is helping to shape the future landscape of our industry. Our clients rely on our input and need our involvement in this process to help protect them as most clients don’t have the knowledge or insight to do it themselves. We are proud to fight for Colorado families every day, and we ensure they are aware of all the ways insurance helps them stay healthy and strong. Count on us to work nonstop to provide affordable and accessible health insurance to all through education, legislative advocacy and professional development. Consider us staunch advocates for the individual and business consumers. Each of you, by your attendance here today, have demonstrated your commitment to learning as much as possible about some very weighty issues. In holding our annual Day at the Capitol, our continual aim is to provide you with an array of people uniquely qualified to discuss Colorado’s changing healthcare system from a variety of perspectives. These are the people “in the know,” and we are honored they can spend the day providing us with much-needed clarity. We trust you will find it a worthwhile day. The information gathered will be critical to your clients and colleagues, and further underscores the value of your membership in this superb organization. If you are not a CSAHU member, now is the time to get on board. Join our proud and respected organization today to help safeguard this industry.
