BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS AND POOLE PARK WESTFIELD OFF-STREET PARKING PLACE) (AMENDMENT NO. 51) ORDER 2020

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Highways Act 1980 (as amended), sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 51, 52, 53, Part III, Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), The Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 (as amended) and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police hereby proposes to make an Order the effect of which will amend The Borough of Poole (Various Roads and Parking Places) (Consolidation of Orders made for the Regulation of On-Street and Off-Street Parking Places) Order Number 14 as follows:

1. The creation of a new Schedule 8.30 and associated Articles for Car Club Vehicles only.

2. Schedule Amendments as follows:

“No Waiting at Any Time” means double yellow lines

Poole Park Fountain Car Update schedule 4.01 to rename the car park and update Park Schedule 10.20 with a revised plan. Harrier Drive Extend the No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on the south side from its junction with Oakley Straight from the current 20 metres to 115 metres. Heckford Lane Extend the No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on both sides from its junction with Denmark Lane from the current termination point of the rear boundary of 60/58 to the rear boundary of 54/52. Poole Park Drive Extend No Waiting at Any Time on the north-west side from a point 54 metres north-east of Park Gates West for a distance of 17 metres in a north-easterly direction.

Extend the No Loading or Unloading at Any Time restrictions on the north-west side from a point 63 metres north-east of its junction with Kingland Road for a distance of 26 metres in a north-easterly direction

Remove the on-street parking place on the north-west side with waiting limited to one hour except permit holders the location of which is from a point 63 metres north east of its junction with Kingland Road for a distance of 138 metres in a north-easterly direction and replace it with nine on-street parking places for disabled persons vehicles only with a maximum stay of three hours. Each bay is 7m in length and they are located at the following points north-east of its junction with Kingland Road: 89 metres, 103 metres, 118 metres, 132 metres, 166 metres, 181 metres, 196 metres, 210 metres and 225 metres. Unnamed Road Introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on the adjacent to Poole Park south-west side from its junction with Poole Park Drive Fountain (South West to for a distance of 7 metres in a north-easterly direction and North West Arm) also from a point 24 metres north east of the same junction for a distance of 11 metres in a north-westerly direction.

On the south-west side the introduction of two on-street parking places with waiting limited to two hours 8am to 6pm every day. These will be from a point 7 metres north of its junction with Poole Park Drive for a distance of 17 metres in a north-easterly direction and from a point 35 metres north of the same junction for a distance of 22 metres in a north-westerly direction. Unnamed Road Introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on the adjacent to Poole Park south-east side from its junction with Poole Park Drive for Fountain (South East to a distance of 5 metres in a north-westerly direction and North West Arm) also from a point 25 metres north-west of the same junction for a distance of 11 metres in a north-westerly direction.

On the south-east side the introduction of two on-street parking places with waiting limited to two hours 8am to 6pm every day. These will be from a point 5 metres north of its junction with Poole Park Drive for a distance of 20 metres in a north-westerly direction and from a point 36 metres north of the same junction for a distance of 20 metres in a north-westerly direction. Unnamed Road Introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on both adjacent to Poole Park sides around the circumference of the fountain. Fountain (both arms) Ashley Road (southern The removal of the Loading Bay which is located at the side) common boundary of nos. 289/291 for a distance of 12 metres and also the removal of No Loading and Unloading at Any Time restrictions which run from its junction with Edward Road to the common boundary of 289/291 Ashley Road and also the same restriction which runs from the boundary of nos. 297/299 Ashley Road to the boundary of nos. 341/343 Ashley Road. These will all be replaced with a No Loading or Unloading at Any Time restriction the location of which will be from its junction with Ashley Road to the boundary of nos. 341/343 Ashley Road. North Road The removal of a parking place which is located on the west side from a point 45 metres north of its western junction with Commercial Road for a distance of 10 metres and also the removal of a parking place on the north-west side which is located from a point 12 metres north-east of its junction with North Road service road for a distance of 45 metres in a north-easterly direction.

The creation of a new parking place with waiting limited to two hours Monday to Friday 8am-6pm Except Permit Holders (Resident) on the north-west side from a point 12 metres north-east of its junction with North Road service Road for a distance of 39 metres in a north- easterly direction.

The creation of a Car Club bay on the north-west side from a point 12 metres north-east of its junction with North Road service road for a distance of 12 metres in a north-easterly direction.
