Fisrt ever Gold for Indian Womens TT team at CWG 2018 Gold coast, Australia. Manika Batra created history by helping India win two matches in the finals against Singapore to win its first ever gold medal in women's team events category along with winning another gold in womens singles event. This historic win was supported by Pune city paddler and Chatrapati award winner Pooja Sahasrabudhe - Koparkar. The womens indian TT team also included Sutirtha Mukherjee, Madhurika Patkar Torgalkar and Mouma Das. Indian Table tennis Team showed Incredible performance by winning 8 medals at CWG 2018. Manika Batra won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal in womens doubles event paring along with mouma das and 1 bronze medal in mixed doubles category along with G. Sathiyan. Whereas Indian Mens team also won a gold medal in team events. The indian mens squad includes A.Sharathkamal, G.Sathiyan, A.Amalraj, Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shetty A. Sharath Kamal won bronze medal in mens singles category while G.Sathiyan paired with Sharath Kamal to win a Silver medal in mens doubles event and Sanil shetty paired with Harmeet desai to win bronze in mens doubles event category. Online Tickets go live for the Indian Hockey Team Home Matches of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2020 today ~ Tickets are available on ticketgenie.in from 1100hrs IST onwards ~ New Delhi, 21 November 2019: With close to two months to go for the second edition of the much-anticipated FIH Hockey Pro League 2020, Hockey India on Thursday announced that the sale of online tickets for the Indian home matches will go live today from 1100hrs IST onwards. It will be the first time that India will be participating in the FIH Hockey Pro League 2020, which will see the Indian Men's Hockey Team play hosts to the likes of The Netherlands, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand in a total of eight matches which will take place at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar spanned from 18th January - 24 May 2020. The six-month long FIH Hockey Pro League 2020 will see World No. 5 Indian Men's Hockey Team start off their campaign by hosting World No. 3 The Netherlands in two home matches on 18th and 19th January 2020, which will be followed by the Indian team playing two more home matches against the World Champions, Belgium on 8th and 9th February 2020 at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium.
