Now this tour has been fully rescheduled and even more dates have been added, including the iconic London Palladium on Friday 30th September 2022. I shall take as a striking demonstration of that muted role the judicial interpretation of politically sensitive legisla- tion, which interpretation is characterized by extreme deference to the words of an Act of Parliament. This will lead me to speculate on whether the sovereign powers of Parliament should be curtailed by the enactment of a Bill of Rights and whether a Bill of Rights is a political and legal possibility. -
