Summary of Inspire Next-Gen 2013 execution: 1) SMS facility of mobile phone is used for registration process instead of using paper-based registration approach in order to save trees used in making papers and reduce global warming issues. 2) Students (9th – 12th std) from across the state are not charged a fee to attend the Reasoning Aptitude Test (RAT) and instead, money (approx. INR 45,000) used to conduct the entire event is raised from generous donors working outside Manipur and abroad. 3) Career guidance sessions for students are conducted by working professionals (Doctors, Engineers, Para-military services, Management Consultants, Teaching Professionals) through interactive Q&As citing own personal life experiences and global case samples. 4) Volunteering support for invigilators and examiners in the Reasoning Aptitude Test (RAT) from Schools and College in Greater Moirang regions. Total Volunteers/Working Professionals = 45. 5) Applicants submitted = 695, and Applicants Attended = 410; Schools/Colleges applied = 28; Districts contributing students = Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Churchandapur. 6) Reasoning Aptitude Test (RAT) focused on creating awareness of its necessity in applying for job in Private and Govt offices, and various national competitive exams. 7) Books on Aptitude tests for preparing CAT (to study at IIMs), CSAT (to get Civil Services jobs through UPSC), and NDA entrance test (to become military officers) are distributed for 25 top scorers. Top 5 scorers are given add-on books on history/culture of Manipur along with cash awards. Result of Manipur state level Reasoning Aptitude Test (RAT) for 9th -12th std conducted during ‘Inspire Next-Gen 2013’ on 01st Sept 2013 at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Moirang.
