CORK • IRELAND June 26 & 27 2013 Workshop hosts www.c-sigma.org Event partners & sponsors PROGRAM26 & 27 June 2013 C-SIGMA is an international initiative intended to foster wider cooperation and exchange in the use of and access to satellite based maritime surveillance information at a global level. The 2013 workshop, C-SIGMA IV is being hosted by National Space Centre Ltd, Ireland, with sessions taking place in Elfordstown Earthstation and Fota Island Resort Hotel. At C-SIGMA IV, in addition to progressing unclassified space systems information and technology to benefit maritime awareness on a global scale, C-SIGMA IV will also showcase demonstrations of the several dynamic data analysis tools now in use or under development, using National Space Centre’s control room at Elfordstown Earthstation Ireland. ORGANISING AUTHORITHY (“OA”) 1.1 The Series is organisded by the Royal Cork Yacht Club 2. RULES 2.1 The Series will be sailed under the current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the ISA prescriptions thereto, the IRC Rules, the Club ECHO handicapping System, Class rules where applicable, by this Notice of Race and by the Sailing Instructions for the Regatta. 2.2 IRC Crew limitation: No Crew limit shall apply 3. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY 3.1 This Regatta is an open event and is open to all. To be eligible for IRC/Club Echo results yachts much hold in date valid certificates. Endorsed certificates are not required to be eligible for a result. 3.2 These leagues are governed by the Club General Sailing Instructions 2021 which are available on the club website. https://www.royalcork.com/notice-board 3.3 All yachts shall complete the online Entry Form 4. In 1720, there was one Yacht Club with 25 members, today there are thousands across the globe whose combined membership runs into the millions - all with one thing in common, a love of yachting. The Admiral, Flag Officers and Members of the Royal Cork Yacht Club invite you to join in the celebration of this milestone event – together with event partners, sponsors and suppliers, their guests and employees, yacht clubs of the world and their members, the sailing community, event competitors, local community, families and friends to come to Cork in 2020. Cork 300 is the umbrella title for a series of events which will be held throughout 2020. Its primary focus will be on the renewing of old friendships and the creation of new ones, thereby ensuring that all of our partners continue to play a leading role in yachting and activities both ashore and afloat for the the next 300 years. Central to these celebrations will be the Great Gathering in July and the Championship Weeks / “At Home” in August all backed up by a host of harbour-wide on and off the water events.
