The award is given by vote of the faculty to the senior male and female student whom they believe has those qualities that exemplify the outstanding male and female member of the senior class. Matine Khalighi, Kimberly Marfo RENAISSANCE AWARDS The award is given to a male and female senior student who has pursued a positive, creative career at Smoky Hill High School, and who has exhibited poise and versatility by being involved in a variety of scholastic and non-scholastic activities. Chase Lyons, Laurel Grosz ATHLETES OF THE YEAR WITH HONORS This is the highest athletic award given by the head coaches at Smoky Hill High School. It is given to one female and one male athlete who have participated in at least one sport in their senior year and who have, in addition to outstanding performance, achieved a grade point average of 3.25 or above, and have exhibited outstanding sportsmanship.
