Barbara McKinzie A nationally-acclaimed CPA who holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, Ms. McKinzie owns the distinction of being the first to serve as the International Evening Entertainer President and Chief Administrative Officer for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Ms. McKinzie has served as Deputy Director of Finance and Administration for Chicago’s Neighborhood Kelly Price Housing Services and as Comptroller for the Chicago Housing A native of Queens, New York, Mrs. Price grew up Authority, the third largest public housing system in the United around music as a member of the choir, and eventually States. Despite undergoing treatment over a three-year period, Mrs. Holmes spent time volunteering in the community and at church before passing away on August 6, 2007. To honor Mrs. Holmes, her husband Troy established the foundation to pay the tuition and fees for a female student enrolled in Langston University’s School of Physical Therapy for a three-year period.
