The mindful jar Hello, it Aimee, I'm the project lead for the Advanced Programme. We are recruiting for a new programme starting in the coming weeks and we're looking for 16-18-year-olds who are interested in healthcare. We understand that education is not always accessible to everyone and the aim of the programme is to empower young people to pursue careers within the NHS. The programme is held weekly and is virtual at the moment but ordinarily, the cadets will meet once a week at Alder Hey, Children's Hospital. The programme teaches key skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication and include placement in Alder Hey when permitted under current guidelines. If you have any young people between the ages of 16-18 who you feel this would benefit, please forward this link so they can register an expression of interest. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=-zfQkRRH6E- whGjAg7gZPxbnq12dXxNIrt47Rw0WJ1lUNU1ZTkpJT09JNkQzVENURkIwTVRTVE8wMS4u I'm more than happy to talk through anything so please don't hesitate to get in touch. Aimee Tinsley—Project Lead (NHS Cadets- Liverpool) 07595 078 278 St John Ambulance, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, CV8 2TA Post to St John Ambulance, 100 Lionel Street, Birmingham, B3 1DG If you’re interested in football activities, we want to hear from you! The council has the chance to bid for funding to bring more grassroots footballing opportunities to Wirral, but we need your help to do it. Our funding bid will focus on getting Birkenhead and Tranmere, Seacombe, Bidston and St. James, Rock Ferry and Liscard the facilities and activities the community wants– that’s residents, sports clubs, groups and local organisations together. And this is where you come in . Whether it’s playing, coaching, refereeing, or just supporting that interests you, we want you to tell us how we could spend the money in those communities. Similarly, if your organisation or group would be interested in helping us deliver any football activities, we want to hear from you so that we can work together to develop an exciting programme of activities, based on the feedback received in this consultation. If you’re interested, please get in touch with the team by email [email protected]. We’ll be asking the National Lottery’s Active Through Football funding programme for up to £750,000 later in Spring for activities for young people ages 16 & over, and adults of all ages. We think that showing what local people and local groups really want, and how they will get involved, will give us a really good chance at getting the money. To tell us how you want us to deliver football in your area, you can fill out the survey by visiting :Have Your Say websitehttps://haveyoursay.wirral.gov.uk . Please can you kindly share this email and link with your contacts and community databases, including young people 16+ you work with.
