The background to the development of the Dee Catchment Management Plan (CMP). An overview of the catchment. The main issues affecting the catchment’s waters. The roles of the organisations involved in these issues. 37 management Objectives, each relating to a particular aspect of the waters of the Dee catchment. Each of these 37 Objectives is the subject of a separate, self-contained ‘Action Card’. The Action Cards, which are the central component of the Dee CMP, are available in the separate Dee CMP ‘Action Pack’, copies of which have been provided to key partner organisations. The Action Pack is also available from public libraries in the catchment as well as from the project website www.theriverdee.org.
