§ Acknowledgments The chapters in this volume result from the Writing Research Across Borders III Conference, which was held in February 2014, at the request of the Inter- national Society for the Advancement of Writing Research. The Université Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense, the Université de Lor- raine, and the Université Paris-Sorbonne, along with their Research Lab- oratories Crem (Université de Lorraine), MoDyCo (CNRS [French Na- tional Centre for Scientific Research], Université Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense), and STIH (Université Paris-Sorbonne) spent considerable time and effort in the organization of this conference.
