We do not request the reader's faith, if the content of our publication does not appeal to hirn from within. The ad vancing development of the Aquarius era will testify on our behalf May countless human beings be guided by new insight and decide to follow the Water Bearer, so that also in them and by them the truth of the path of salvation may become manifest. Catharose de Petri Jan van Rijckenborgh 7 I THE JOANNINE HUMAN BEING Opening Now that we experience the mercy of being participants in this special work of kindling the torch of the light in this Christian Rosenkreuz Temple, we place ourselves in humility, but very consciously, under the radiant light of the one flame, and we profess before the countenance of the sevenfold universal Spirit and before theinner tribunal: In the name of the holy threefoldLogos, in the name of the liberating universal Seven-light, in the name of His Power, Jesus Christ our Lord: Obedience to the holy threefoldLogos, obedience to the glorious powers and radiations of the holy Seven-light, obedience to the Grand Master of the Universal Chain of the Brotherhood,Jesus Christ. Amen. Maywe be foundworthy to receive the mercifulblessing of the Holy Brotherhood. Amen, yes, arnen. 9 Firstaddress In this second Aquarius Conference we would like to place you before the eightfold path, the classical path of the two squares. This path has already been transmitted to us through Hermes Trismegistus. It focuses our attention on a twofold work that must be carried out by any person who considers himself a true Rosicrucian. You know what we mean by the square of construction. The work forand of the renewing life leading to the second sidereal birth must be carried out on the square of con struction. But it is obvious that, before we can speak of true construction, the soil on which the construction is to take place must be prepared first. The building site must be purified, must be smoothed. We have to delve deeply, before we can be sure that a sufficient basis will be obtained for true renewal. That is why the second square, the square of preparation, is spoken of. A correct prepara tion is the prerequisite for any construction. Hence, the two squares cannot be separated. Placed on top of each other they form the number eight, the number of Saturn. It is re presented as a gate, through which only those that have truly cleansed themselves can pass. Perhaps it will now be totally clear to you why we confront you already at the beginning of this conference with this eightfold path. Assuming that you all know that in our Spiritual School the process of construction requires a preceding process of breaking, you will all understand that the new World Brotherhood, manifested in our days and acting in our time, obviously will have to satisfy the signature of the eightfold path. Hence it is logical that in a conference aiming at explaining the activity and nature of 10 the new World Brotherhood two images are drawn, two re presentations are given, namely: the image of breaking up; the image of realisation. In addition, the nature and essence of those who are going to belong to the new WorldBrotherhood should be placed in the fulllight of day. And finally, the followingquestions will be relevant: 1 Which weapons, which instruments will be used by this Brotherhood to achieve its goals? 2 To what degree will they be applied? Well, we will all understand that, as humanityagain enters an Aquarius era after a period of approximately 26,000 years, the harvest of the centuries has to be reaped. That is why all of humanity is placed under a new radiation fieldand under to tally different atmospheric conditions, as can be observed clearly everywhere. The Water Bearer is emptying his vessel of living water over the entire earth and under these comple tely differentcosmic and atmospheric conditions a new type of human being can be and willbe formed, which will be wholly adjusted to the newly created fieldof life and which will act correspondingly. Humanity does not know this new human being and yet he will look very familiar to the world and humanity when he is manifested, because his arrival, his genesis and his work have been prophesied and recorded in the Holy Language and the Universal Teachingsfor ages upon ages. We must now ask: How will the new type of human be manifested? And what does this renewal consist of? What is its signature? The answer is: It is the human being who completely fathoms the essence and nature of the first sidereal birth II and all its consequences; who is determined to walk the path of return and to this end turns to his own heart sanc tuary, to the rose of the heart, also called 'the Lord of the Cave', in order to release and use the power locked up in it. A sevenfold power lies in the rose of the heart, corre sponding to all seven universes and therefore leading to all seven sidereal births. Here we must especially draw your at tention to the fact that the first sidereal birth concerns that part of the dialectical reality that existed in the period before the Fall. And as no phase of the path of development can be skipped, it is clear that the first phase concerns the return to the pre-Adamitic state of being, albeit charged with the wealth of experience of countless centuries. This is the general signature of the new human being. In a more detailed way it could be said that the radiation of the rose of the heart has a completely unearthly atomic power. If a pupil of the Spiritual School releases this power and succeeds in filling his entire being with it and makes it circulate through his being, his whole existence will cer tainly change and, among other things, become much more etheric. The entire head sanctuary with its wondrous possibilities will acquire completely different features. In this way, ultimately a being will be generated in between the type of human being of the first and that of the second sidereal birth, actually being in the world, but no longer of the world. It is the Joannine human being that is going to be mani fested, regardless of whom we mean: John the Baptist, John the Evangelist or John of the Apocalypse. By 'John' is meant the human being in which the Seven-Spirit has worked forcefully in a transforming way. It is the human being to whom the Holy Seven-Spirit has shown its mercy. This human being withdraws from ordinary social life and 12 experiences this life as a desert. This human being goes out as a Baptist to those who seek him. He is transformed by the transfiguration of the head sanctuary, in which the soul human being develops to the extent that he is ultimately taken up in Him whom we call Jesus the Lord. This human being has now become multidimensional, four-dimensional.We call him John-Jesus. He has returned, charged with his treasures, to the dawn of the first sidereal birth, so that he can subsequently ascend into the second sidereal birth, into the Kingdom of Heaven. And now he begins his great work in the service of the world and humanity, his work that can be called a way of the cross. This way of the cross, which has been exemplified by one of the sublime ones in prehistoric times, is now imitated and accomplished by him who is now, afterhaving been res urrected fromJohn-Jesus, called 'Christian Rosycross'. At the moment of this great victory, when the path of the cross has been accomplished from the very first beginning until the end by a human being like us, who in imitation of Christ, as Christian Rosycross, has accomplished the eight fold path, the path of the two squares, we see in brilliant beauty the white stone, the cubic stone, the cross joined into a cube, as a sign that the task has been completed: first as a human being, second as soul, and third as spirit. In imitation of Christian Rosycross the great Brother hood can become the World Brotherhood of the new human race, called to save humanity as far as is possible.

  • Who Is Christian Rosycross? the Classical Rosicrucian Writings
Lectorium Rosicrucianum Det Gyldne Rosenkreuz' Internationale Skole Who is Christian Rosycross? Christian Rosycross is one of the most mysterious characters in European intellectual history. What mystery lies behind the name? “Who is Christian Rosycross?” If you ask these questions today, then the questions “Has this man actually lived?” and “Who are the Rosicrucians?” inevitably follow. The answer to these questions requires an inner search for truth – not the ordinary truth of historical facts – but the timeless truth about the nature and purpose of human existence. Rosicrucians in the Lectorium Rosicrucianum see in Christian Rosyross a spiritual prototype, their “Father-brother” and founder of the spiritual Order while at the same time the name of the force field from which they benefit. In the classical Rosicrucian writings of the 17th century this force field is called the “House Sancti Spiritus“. These sources of western spiritual history contain references that can touch a truth-seeker deeply and perhaps help him open a door to intuitive knowledge. This is the subject of the following article. The classical Rosicrucian writings Anyone who discovers the three original writings of the classical Rosicrucians finds himself faced with an abundance of mysterious symbols and images. These manuscripts were published in the years 1614-1616 by the German theologian Johann Valentin Andreae from Calw, who was a member of the so-called „Tubingen Circle“, a fellowship of spiritually inspired men. The manuscripts tell us about Christian Rosycross and the Rosicrucian Brotherhood. The three titles are: 1. Fama Fraterniatits R.C. (The Call of the Rosicrucian Brotherhood, 1614) 2.

The Gate of Saturn Saturn is the ruler of matter and the cause of all processes of crystallisation. As such he is the power of obstruction, deterioration and decline. It is also Saturn’s task to reveal everything the human being has created. That is why he is sometimes depicted as the man with the sickle and the hour-glass, as the hierophant of death. For he brings all the values of dialectical and satanic man, all the results of selfishness and the rampant lover life into the light of day, at a psychological moment. Saturn is Father Time, Chronos, who orders: Thus far and no further’. But Saturn is also the one who initiates. Those who walk the path of life-renewal to live again in harmony with the great, universal law of life, will meet Saturn as the one who reveals everything that has become new: the imperishable values secured within the soul. Saturn, the envoy of death in transient nature then becomes the herald of the resurrected, immortal man.

T The Lectorium Rosicrucianum, or International School of the Golden Rosycross, aims to help seekers find and form a living connection with this shining filament, which is woven of love, wisdom, knowledge (gnosis) and action. Most importantly, this golden thread is a Path that can actual - ly be walked, a Path shown by all religions in their original form. No Master or Initiate can give the Truth to another. It can only be approached by our own efforts, and by persevering throughout all the obstructions and difficulties we encounter on the way. And it can only be reached through an inner process of transformation called 'soul-rebirth', or 'transfigura - tion'.

  • Rosicrucianism Definition and Origins Rosicrucianism Is a Major Esoteric
Rosicrucianism Definition and Origins Rosicrucianism is a major esoteric current that comprises a textual and symbolic tradition as well as a large number of social organizations, most of them initiatory. It originated with three controversial volumes published in Germany between 1614 and 1620, amidst deep political and religious anxieties in Europe that would soon erupt in the Thirty Years’ War. The two most important texts, the Fama Fraternitatis (1614) and the Confessio Fraternitatis (1615), are known as the Rosicrucian “manifestos,” and were most likely written by a small group of scholars in Tübingen, including Johann Valentin Andreae (1586–1654), Christoph Besold (1577–1648), and Tobias Hess (1586–1614). On the one hand, the manifestos advanced a vision of Christian piety harmonized with the emerging sciences, drawing on a range of esoteric influences from alchemy and Paracelsianism to Christian kabbalah and Hermeticism; on the other, they announced the existence of a secret society founded by a medieval initiate into Oriental mysteries named Christian Rosenkreuz, which keeps powerful esoteric secrets and works towards a millennialist goal: the “general reformation of the whole world.” The publications sparked wide interest and a major furor over the existence of these Rosicrucian brothers, inspiring a series of pro-Rosicrucian books written in the spirit of the manifestos, including the writings of Robert Fludd (1674–1637), Michael Maier (1568–1622), Jan Amos Comenius (1592–1670) and others. From Fiction to Fact While historians agree that no Rosicrucian brotherhood really existed at the time of the manifestos’ publication (Andreae famously referred to the texts as a ludibrium), several such societies were later invented.

  • Religious Pluralisation in Slovenia
Aleš ČRNIČ, Mirt KOMEL, Marjan SMRKE, Ksenija ŠABEC, Tina VOVK* RELIGIOUS PLURALISATION IN SLOVENIA Abstract. The article analyses the dynamics of religious plu- ralisation in Slovenia. Historical developments in various states have kept Slovenians almost exclusively within the Roman-Catholic Church, except for a short Reformation period. The socialist after-war secularisation of society has in many respects undermined the Catholic monopoly, but it failed to create an open religious market. In the transi- tional period the statistics of Catholics continued to drop, and at the same time ever more new religious movements emerged. These are mostly very small and at the time being do not show the potential for substantial growth. The arti- cle analyses in detail religious pluralisation in the regions of Ljubljana and Nova Gorica. Keywords: religious pluralisation, Catholic Church, reli- gious market, secularisation 205 From religious monopoly to pluralisation – historical contexts The polytheistic forefathers of today’s Slovenians settled in the hills and valleys between the north-eastern shores of the Adriatic and south-eastern fringes of the Alps during the 6th and 7th centuries CE. The proximity of the Salzburg Archbishopric and Aquileia Patriarchate ensured that these settlers soon became the target of missionaries who were not only in pursuit of reli- gious conversion but also, on behalf of their feudal rulers, strove to achieve political subjugation. Following the capture of Slav nobles, who were held as hostages, the loosely aligned and self-determining tribal state of Carantania bowed to the pressure; however, adherents to the tradition that worshiped personifications of nature – and in particular such deities as Veles, Mokoš and Perun – were to take up arms against the new order on at least two occasions.
